Coach overturned en-route from London to Aberdeen. Two dead and several seriously injured. Some people had to have limbs amputated at the scene.

Thought that sounded pretty good tonight, can't speak for Momentum and Stars cause sound on stage totally different, but the rest = pretty bloody good.
Well done to Rass, disappointed by the lack of carnage in Stars - what was I running off stage for?!

Rocky 5 was bad enough, bet 6 is gash.

I dunno, I think there's enough angst brought out as it is. Like others have said: people already have myspace, bebo, lj, blogspot, every medium under the sun to blog with. Don't think it's really needed?

Rock 'n fuckin' roll!

Think I've just about recovered. I have a couple of photos from just after the bells in bassment, by the time we got to moshulu I was in no state to operate a camera! Could hardly sleep last night for having spent the whole of New year's day in bed though.
Hope everyone had a great Hogmanay and has a good 2007

Never have I seen so many people get the wrong end of the stick in one thread.
Hope the injured parties make a full recovery, not nice.
Have to say the thought of Pete Doherty being taken out along with a bunch of Neds is rather appealing though.

I opted to pick up my chinese, good thing too since they had a long waiting time for delivery tonight (Golden Crown). But aye most chinese places are open.

I really liked the one of the people jumping from the pier very alive.

It's only just occurred to me that we have a gig on Wednesday. Oh my.

Oh god, I almost forgot about the falls! U must go and get a sexy blue rainmac thing - cool as! Never realised America was so close to the Canadian falls - u can actually walk across the border (provided u got ur passport with u!)
When I was there we went over to New York for the morning, had breakfast and went onto the hurricane deck of the American Falls (very wet.) - surprisingly immigration at the border was more troublesome for our Canadian friend who was with us than for us.
Anyone been to Blue Mountain water park? Now that was fun...

Don't know if the weather will be suitable for it but the Toronto Islands just a quick ferry ride from the quayside are well worth a visit - best to devote a day to them like. CN tower obviously is a must, if you get a clear day you can see all the way to the otherside of Lake Ontario - even see the mist rising from Niagara. Plus you can stand on the strengthened glass floor on the lower level to look all the way down to the street, enough to make anyone dizzy, my mum was too chicken to do it.
The Eaton shopping is good for shopping, although I just remember making a bee-line for the Baskin Robbins booth - the flavours over there are so much better!
Erm what else... no idea if it's game season but you could catch the Argonauts (CFL) or Blue Jays (MLB) at the Sky Dome, the University Buildings are quite beautiful aswell and definitely worth a look.
If you got the chance a day trip to Niagara-on-Lake and Niagara Falls would also be worthwhile. The horseshoe falls are just breathtaking.
I'm well jealous. I'd love to go back to Canada.

I was quite tickled by the bit about wishing his wife had run a stanley knife down his face just so he could have a scar to show for everything he went through. Bless 'im.
Looking forward to watching the full window

I used to be like that... but one day I suddenly liked it on its own.
Marvellous.
I have some in my cupboard actually, may have to eat some... supposed to be using it for cooking! Ack who am I kidding.

Don't diss Dark Chocolate. She gave me the best lapdance of my life one nite in Private Eyes.
Wouldn't be the same one who worked in Bugsy's for a while would it?
-
Can't say I'm a huge fan either, but am forcing myself to eat some everyday after reading in P&J about study into dark chocolate helping M.E. sufferers feel a bit better... but where the hell do you get dark chocolate with 85% cocoa?! All I can find is 70%.. ah well, an excuse to eat choc if ever there was one!
My fave tends to be Sainsbury's cooking chocolate, el cheapo but very tasty.
-
I used to hate dark chocolate, but now I'd far rather tuck into a bar of bourneville than dairy milk. Hell yeah.
-
I'm very confused.

My flatmate is misery guts with Xmas. I'm getting a "Ho Bloody Ho" bobble for the Xmas tree for him.
I adore Christmas. It's just a chance to catch up with everyone and share presents.

Like the grinch... with porn.
Speaking of present swapping Burnham, you and I need to meet up this week to do just that!
(And I'm still waiting for card #2... that you remembered to write in this time )

Just finished "If You Could See Me Now" by Cecelia Ahern. Really enjoyed it, one of those books that just gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside - best way to describe it really.
If you ever had an imaginary friend as a child then you should read it.
Plan to read the new James Patterson book next before finally getting into I, Lucifer properly (keep getting distracted by another book every time I start to read it, very unlike me.)
