  1. this is gonna be ace. seriously, the YYY's are awesome live. definately amongst the best bands I have seen, certainly worth missing a bit of 'tallica's set for. What are the locust like?
  2. afraid i have only ordered one ticket so dont have any spares or anything like that! cant you order from ticketmaster? or you could try phoning the venue to see if they can keep one at the dorr or something in your name?
  3. i have liberty of adding my personal opinions: Main Stage unknown day Beastie Boys - rumour ( how awesome would this be?) The Darkness - strong rumour (shite choice for headliners if they play. i would be upset) The White Stripes - strong rumour (ace) Muse - rumour (also would be ace) unknown stage unknown day Blink 182 - rumour(good last year) Chas 'n' Dave - strong rumour(dunno?) From Autumn To Ashes - strong rumou(was not impressed at tuts recently)r Funeral For A Friend - rumour(not a big fan) Idlewild - rumour(good?) Lostprophets - strong rumour(not a huge fan) Mr Mojo - to be confirmed(probably shite with a name like that) My Chemical Romance - strong rumour(dunno?) Never Heard Of It - strong rumour(dunno? probably ok live) Scissor Sisters - to be confirmed(shit shit shit, this eyars junior senior?) The Ataris - strong rumour(ace) The Bandits - rumour(dunno?) The Distillers - rumour(awesome) The Libertines - to be confirmed(would love to see them live) The Ordinary Boys - to be confirmed(heard bad things)
  4. no bands have been officially confirmed yet. the white stripes are a safe bet though. but the other rumoured healiners are ac/dc - hmmmm.... the darkness - i could handle them playing but shite headliners
  5. i got my forres tickets today!! gonna be ace planning a trip to the orkney date as well all the dates are now up on biffyclyro.com
  6. i dont think the dates have been confirmed by biffy but the guy from the venue says he has a date for friday 2nd april(i think)
  7. they are absolutely awesome live. they will almost certainly be back next time they do a full tour. they are doing some dates in april, edinburgh is the nearest. or you could see them in forres...
  8. i wasn't. 4th- 9th march were orginal dates for the highlands and islands tour but that has been psotponed until april. they play friday 2nd april at the eastgrange loft, forres or something like that. Unfortunately i think you are, if that was the case wouldn't they have some dates/venues from the 4th until the 8th? also, as part of the hundred reasons tour: 09/03/2004 Bristol Academy on a side note, biffy are in wales beggining the recording of album number 3. apparently they have demoed 16 tracks already
  9. Biffy Clyro 4 - 9 March 2004 The Paolo Fresu Sextet 09 Mar - The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen 10 Mar - The Aros Centre, Skye 11 March - The Tolbooth, Stirling 12 March - The Queens Hall, Edinburgh 13 March - The Wynd, Melrose 14 March - The Tron, Glasgow sorry to disappoint but do you realise that the lemon tree date is for the Paolo Fresu Sextet. The Biffy Clyro dates are from 4-9th March which is when they were supposed to be doing the Highalnds and Islands tour, but this is now in april. So, Biffy aren't coming back to Aberdeen
  10. it was awesome. was the first time i have been at drakes and i thought it was really cool. 10 easy wishes were absolutely awesome, loved the dangerfields.. and the real mckenzies were just brilliant
  11. havent been to dr drakes before. is anyone able to give a rough estimate of when the gig will finish, i.e. when the mckenzies finish?
  12. MMW - first time seeing them and i really enjoyed the set. I would now really like to see them with the full band set up. I have to agree with just about everyone else that Ben's voice was really good. Point Of Origin - What a surprise! Last time I saw them, which was around July or something like that, I honestly didn't like them at all. But Saturday night definately changed my views. Like others have said, what an improvement! I really enjoyed them. The 44's - Ace as ever. I love this band. Better than the last time I saw them, which was in December, and in my opinion I would say they are the best unsigned band in Scotland, at least that I have seen. Adequate 7 - Only heard the one track before Saturday, but they were rockin'. Really cool funk punk. Got the album and it is really good as well. I would definately go check them out again.
  13. last night was excellent. i missed the start of ten easy wishes due to trains but saaw a good chunk of the set, which was really really good. i really enjoyed it, first time i have seen 10EW for quite a while. i did have one query though. why, but why, the bloody hell were you on before gilamn street? that is the first time i have seen them, and to be fair you blew them off the stage, which wasn't particularly hard!
  14. I was under the impression that the support was Crackout (October)/ thisGIRL(September) and Oceansize? And where could it be switched to?
