Apologies I would like to apologise on behalf of Malera and He Hates Us of the gig being cancelled. Malera had to pull out of the tour because of a damaged drummer then to make matters worse, East Neuk cancelled the gig (the day before might I add) due to there being a worry of riot control because of 2 of the bands that were playing. Thanks to those who went and found the place closed and to those who were going to go (I see 2 rsvp's above )

No, if u read my reply to what that person said, Malera are NOT REAP. There is only 2 REAP members in malera and we play diff songs. And yes, we still have the giant kit but we set it up and take it down quicker cause the band members actually help now (not that i think its getting used for this gig, just using the drummonds one)

Hey, i just want to correct this message (thx tho for trying to correct ppl ) We only play one of the REAP songs now - the rest are brand new for Malera and the only 2 surviving REAP members are myself and the drummer (after many changeovers of members during our 'away' time) But the part about the gigging solidly for 2 years is correct. Dates Hey guys. Ive just been looking over the posts and im not sure when the date of the gig is. Just need an update for it. Also, what is the equipment plan? do we use the drummonds drum kit? Our own guitar setup? etc. Thx.

Thanks for all the great comments everyone. Has been a tough couple of years since reap trying to get the new band together but it seems it was all worth it. The whole night in general was great as all the bands kicked ass. Was a pure metal night for sure!! Ive updated the myspace cause the mp3 was from our old singer and we've since re-recorded all the stuff with the new singer plus ive added a couple more songs so pop along and have a look if ya want. Yes, this dissappointing news is true. Unfortunately we(the rest of the band) just recently got the news ourselves and havent had much time to do anything about it. Sorry to moshulu and so forth for us having to cancel our gig but as you can see we have no choice. Well stuart, we seem to have quite a fanbase so i think u can go fuck urself on the fact we are shit. And i dont think we are the greatest band under the sun but we are certainly a hell of a lot better than quite a few of the bands out there - at least our songs dont sound like just about every other band in our style or like every other song that we have. And we maybe one of the worst bands u have heard in a while cause ur taste in music is shite - you seem to like moany boring radiohead stuff (radiohead are ok but come on). Stanley certainly dont dick on us. Im not saying that they arent talented - they can play their instruements well but their music is just boring. At least we have some Record label interest at the moment. And i can somehow tell that if u were to be in a band then it would prob be the worst in the world.

well stuartmaxwell, as for u saying the other bands are guff i cant say ive even heard of your band and considering u like stanley (who are good at what they do - but every fuckin song sounded the same; dull, plinky plonky, boring, moany stuff that will put u to sleep) then i can see where ur music taste resides.

I have a Fender Frontman 25R (25Watts). Perfect condition. Thing is, its still about 130 - 140 in the shops so id be looking for about 50 for it. Its there if you decide you want to spend a bit more.
