Other highligts in my ticket list (which are hoarded somewhere) are:
Wildhearts on almost every Scottish show from 94 onwards.
Almighty at the Usher Hall
Does that mean you never saw The Wildhearts supporting The Almighty at the Music Hall in November '93 ?
Now that was a great gig
-
Excellant gig Electric Eel Shock were amazing as were the two opening bands.
What a great night out and only cost me 5.
Cheers Samurai Fury ticket seller dude

No but they used to be - there ain't no shortage of good metal bands about. I wouldn't want to see bands that are past their best anyway. Just cos a band aint on TOTP's doesn't mean they don't exsist' date=' silly! In fact the fact that there is so much metal about is why I'm slightly hacked off. I've seen Muse at Reading before, they were nae bad but I'll reiterate my point (which seems to of been totally missed) Why can't they keep Reading as a rock festival and have another festival for Indie bands? There are surely enough fields in England?[/quote']
Is Download, Bloodstock Open Air, Bloodstock and the rumoured Monsters of Rock Festival (at Milton Keynes Bowl o_O ) not enough for you like
Reading/Leeds have a rock day also Iron Maiden last year is that not Metal enough for you.
My take on festivals anyway is to experience new bands and types of Music the Metal festivals above are great if you want to play safe but by having a festival with a bill like Reading you get abit of everything.
That and the fact with the Metal festivals you have no time to look round the site cos theres always a good band on and your scared you'll miss something

They were good at the Barras but much better leading up to that...the Playhouse gigs were legendary!
Yeah i would have gladly gone to the Playhouse shows for Master of Puppets and AJFA rather than the LOAD Barra's gig
The Barra's gig was amazing thou, walking on with the house lights on and no intro tape.
Stripped of most of there flash stage lighting and pyro, bare to the bone and amazing.
God i love Metallica
-
I wasn't afraid that was a separate gig... he he (it was another wild rose' date=' or mono grande? support for Fudge tunnel!)
[/quote']
I have supports for the gig listed as Nerve Wrecker and Another Wild Rose.
-
Terrorizer are normally spot on the money as they dont follow trends.
-
I saw Groop dogdrill and Backyard Babies' date=' were Fudge Tunnel also on the bill or was it a seperate gig?.[/quote']
Seperate gig im afraid.
-
what? when did fudge tunnel play aberdeen?.....
he he
Fudge Tunnel have played Aberdeen' date='its just so hard to find anyone else who was there o_O
[img']http://www.donniesquair.btinternet.co.uk/images/ticket2.jpg
I think i was ripped off
-
shit! that sucks' date=' now i have to wait 3 months to see them:'([/quote']
Thats not what you originally said ;-)
-
12.50 eh...
ah' date=' those were the days.
(Fudge Tunnel, 4.50)...
hey! we mentioned the Fudge Tunnel Gig again![/quote']
I dont think we mention them enough!!!!!!
On the subject of Clash of the Titans i have a bootleg of that whole gig somewhere
-
MMM this gig has been cancelled one of them fell and hurt himself over the new year apparently o_O
The new date is Sunday 23rd of April.
-
Here's some of my old tickets
You've probably opened a can of worms here Lepeep by the way
-
I saw Mendeed at the Camden Underworld in August and i thought they were nothing special. The band who supported them Malefice were a hundred times better.
I missed them when they supported Dragonforce but i wouldn't mind seeing them again as you cant really judge a band on one performance.
Keep me in the loop HOG

No publicity is bad publicity! I'd certainly go and see you guys soley on the back of this thread. Aberdeen has a reputation as a town full of meanies' date=' and an Aberdonian could feed a family of 4 for a month on 9!!!!
Get your asses up to Inverness, and I'm sure you'd have a great night! We don't get any gigs up here:down:[/quote']
Yeah play Inverness and drop in by Elgin on the way.
If your crap i'll tell you to your face rather than online
I remember telling the Girls from Kittie that i enjoyed there set supporting Slipknot but their cover of Pink Floyds Run Like Hell sucked big time, they weren't happy, shame they didn't listen cos the recorded it for their second album and now everyone can hear how bad it is
Playing covers cant be easy especially song that people hold dearly. If your gonna cover something play it well or dont play it at all is what i say - which is a stupid thing to say really as you dont start out to play something sloppy ?(

Who are IRON MONKEY ?
All i can say is it's Will Haven, Will Haven!!!!!!
YES BRING IT ON
-
Will Haven - BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!
Anybody else see them when they played Aberdeen
Dont know when the tickets are released but i'll be keeping an eye on all my ticket sites
-
Got a good listen to it on the way to Aberdeen shopping today,im not overly impressed with it, but i'll give it a few listens.
-
I bought Mourning Sun today and its amazing.
Literally from the moment i put it on the heckles on the back of my neck rose, it is so full of atmosphere its unbelievable.
From a musical point of view i would say it sits nicely with the Elizium album and its certainly fighting hard for my album of the year - corny to say but true non the less.
WE ARE HERE........
-
Mine arrived today after I couldn't find the DualDisc in the shops. Got it off play.com for 13.99. Typical One Up got it in on Wednesday for 11.99' date=' they reckoned it would cost over 15!
Anyway it is really good so far. Will take many listens before I give my verdict on it in comparison to Mezmerize[/quote']
Should have gone to ASDA its 9.99 there
-
Haha' date=' Mordred's obligatory nostalgia post. I caught them in Edinburgh in 1993 I think, my mate ended up in hospital, he didn't twig that if you're going to stage-dive, it's best to dive into an area where there are people to catch you.[/quote']
MMMM anyone wanna mention Carcass 8)

MORE DATES! MORE DATES!
Off to the website....
Gah. Nothing there. Would fucking KILL to see Bolt Thrower.
I saw them in Edinburgh in 1991 on the WARMASTER tour supported by Paradise Lost
-
Yeah i've got it, had a couple of listens but haven't any strong feelings on it as its always been on in the background.
-
I remember that too, that im sure was the token Metal T-shirt to show that it was a bad person you shouldn't be hanging around with on neighbours.
....No change their then
-
That prick Beckham was seen out in an EXODUS shirt too
