  1. was the spanish looking guy singing? he looks kinda familiar. There was a band playing the edinburgh gig that Bonesaw did a while back who were killer. Sounded like Deicide or something. Never found out there name though.

If you click the picture of the band you get a picture of the singer. He's the one far left.

  2. DMW are cool' date=' tho slightly confused as the lineup must have changed because far as I know Bruce Watson was always a part of DMW not a special guest...

    Cheers

    Stuart[/quote']

The line up changes all the time Jester, the last time i saw them it was Mike Peters,Billy Duffy,Kirk Brandon,Slim Jim Phantom and Bruce Watson although Glen Matlock was meant to be there too.

The original DMW was Peters,Matlock,Brandon and Pete Wahh.

This time round its as DMWpress posted above with Bruce Watson i believe playing the odd show and Captain Sensible as full time member.

You do get the odd suprise at one gig Mick Jones turned up.

One things for sure its going to be a great show

  3. Nile were fantastic, there 3 way vocal attack is just jaw dropping.

Didn't think much of Incantation but im told there alot better on record than they were live.

Finally another Scottish band for you to look out for SONS OF SLAUGHTER from Edinburgh.

They opened the show and were very impressive indeed.

Here is there website unfortunately the mp3 link on there site doesn't work.

Maybe we could get them to come up and play with Bonesaw,Hearsecrash or yourselves :D

  4. I remember when they were about the heaviest band i listened too,

    yipe the good old days

Being searched by Karl Willets at Edinburgh Venue twice looking for stolen merchandise was quite funny especially after he appologised when the culprit was found.

The culprit had put all the stolen T-shirts on and was sweeting buckets - the venue's a sweat pit at the best of times so god knows he probably passed out :nono:

I haven't heard anything since The IV Crusade what are they like now - obviously still using Mankind alot i take it

  5. aye well' date=' if it's any consolation it's good fun to go to. Theres nothing quite like degrading yourself to the lowest common denominator. But i'm not surprised the new flats want rid of it. The bouncers will let ANYONE in, they never id people. There are people at mission and the othe nights that i'm sure must be under 16.

I'm more upset about the venue. that place was a bit more civilised, and got loads of great acts.[/quote']

They sent the three people packing for having no ID that were infront of me on saturday - the bouncers must have been bored!!!!!

  6. maybe the anti social behaviour they refer to is the masses of people off their faces on drugs' date=' the masses of under agers off their face on drugs, and the drunken idiots who scream and throw things when it finishes, at 5 AM.[/quote']

    Is that from personal experience?

The club infact closes at 3am but im not picking holes, the place seems a very good music venue and Napalm Death played there not that long ago so if it remained solely as a concert venue kicking out time would be 11pm.

The fact The Venue is just up the road and would be tarred with the same brush worries me.

I only go to Studio 24 on the rare visit to Edinburgh so i cant comment on trouble outside i haven't witnessed it, but if the Scotsman is defending the club then i cant see there being a huge level of problems outside.

  7. It doesn't say.

There were posters up in the club on saturday saying please leave the club quietly and respect the residents.

But you get that at most clubs.

What is annoying me is both Venues have been in the area for years with no problems its only when people developed the area around it that this problem arose.

The people who bought the houses in the surrounding area would have known about the clubs and surely took that into consideration when they purchased them.

Like the Scotsman article says you dont move into the centre of a busy town and expect peace and quiet :swearing:

  8. Studio 24 in Edinburgh is being forced to close down in jan 2006 due to complaints about anti social behaviour, the Venue could be next!!!!!!! :swearing:

There is a full rundown of what is going on along with a petition to save the club Here

If you think why should i care about a venue in Edinburgh read the Scotsman article at the bottom of the Save studio24 link its very possible this could happen in Aberdeen too at some point.

  9. When i spoke to Luca Trilli in july at Masters Of Rock' date='Czech Republic in july there was no mention of them supporting helloween next year(i really hope im wrong) and also they are doing their own tour at the sametime..[/quote']

If you check the Primal Fear website you'll notice the first two sections of tourdates for 2006 are both playing with Helloween including a TBC at KOKO in London which is the day after Helloween play Glasgow its looking good

I haven't followed Helloween since the release of Kids of the Century and i just wonder how bad things must have got that they have to release a Part III to Keeper of the Seven Keys :nono: saying that Queensryche seem to be planning to destroy there legacy too by having an Operation Mindcrime II :nono::nono:

Both these albums might be good but i really fear for the worst :swearing:

  10. i have a spare ticket and vacant seat in my car if anyone fancies this gig. see my post in the classified Ads for details. I canna believe how many people are actually torn between Dragonforce & Decap/Gorerotted. Bunch of fucking fags the lot of ye!!!

Oh and Macabre are looking for pics from the tour. email them to macabre@murdermetal.com if you haven't already.

    Bazz

Yeah i got that email too' date=' my pics are already away

Here a link to my pics Bazz

....as for Dragonforce over Gorerotted & Decapitated - WHATEVER

  11. how was macabre btw?? busy?

Macabre were ace just a shame not alot of people bothered to see them :nono:

I would have said just under half were Aberdeen based at least that was the amount during Macabre :D

I think there was alot more people at the start for the Glasgow band.

What would you say Dechristianise, i know you arrived during the second band did you think the crowd thinned out as the night went on!!!!!!

  12. There was a limited ENT/KLF split 7" that came out' date=' rare as hell these days, but I have a pretty fucked-up version of "3am Eternal" on tape. Great stuff.[/quote']

I have mp3's of the ENT/KLF 3am Eternal studio version and live at the brits

The Brits show was around the time the 3am flexi came out but i never thought they'd do it on the Brits, i was gutted i missed it :(
