  1. Yipe seems alright to me i may pop in for a nose
  2. I saw Ricky with band at the Download Festival this year and he was amazing, not as good as 12 years ago when they opened for Iron Maiden at Donington thou
  3. I would say get both Keeper of the seven keys Pt I and II as they are both excellant albums, the songs Future World, Halloween and A Song That Wasn't Right from Part I are all top class As for Manowar i have never saw the fascination with them, they always seemed to be the band you associate with the spotty teenager with the cut off denim jacket over the leather one, with the studded wrist bands an image i didn't want to associate with when i was growing up listening to metal. I never have like the studded wrist bands except on Kerry King obviously
  4. Just got this email from seasons of Mist:- Nov 16th, 2004 Attila returns to Mayhem Maniac is out of the band and back in comes Attila Csihar. He will from now on take Maniacs role as a front figure with immediate effect. All though the rumors have been flourishing over the past months, nothing was decided until now. The reason for this change lies in a more private matters, but it also deals with Maniacs inability to tour. Maniac was, and will always be a part of our legacy, and it has been an honor to work with him for the last 10 years. Respect
  5. I think the left hand side of the Barfly stage officially belonged to Aberdeen, everyone seemed to come from there :-) Amazing gig four excellant bands Link to more gig pictures :-)
  6. There was another Halo from the UK, but dont know which had a song lunatic ride. I have two Halo albums and its not on them, this Halo play slow downtuned grind in a similar fashion to Godflesh and should make a welcome break from the out and out grind of the other bands.
  7. Poor Pigsy indeed, i feel gutted when gigs are cancelled or supports not turning up but to go to a gig and not get in thats brutal. Nevermind im sure the grinding Pig Destroyer line up will make up for it
  8. As long as you dont bring any of that stuff to NASUM whoops i mean PIG DESTROYER :O
  9. Yipe 2005 is looking like a great year Rammstein are touring, Maiden are doing a major festival tour promoting there current DVD and Motley Crue are back........ My god i cant wait
  10. Somehow i dont think thats very likely
  11. They say the Devil has all the best music, well i'd say the rolls are reversed tonight. RIP John Peel (a real lover of music)
  12. Kerrang! had an advert last week on page 41 saying " The band you thought you'd never see live again! " going on to say coming soon watch Kerrang! TV wednesday October 27 for details. No mention of Motley Crue but it was the Theatre of Pain mask logo and picture of the band from behind live. So it's safe to say all systems go..............
  13. Im glad alot of people on this board dont want to see Motley Crue, it means i've a better chance of getting a ticket ....and if Poison, Bang Tango and Vain were announced as supports i'd be on cloud nine

  16. Maybe cos its getting boring and is expected, something fresh is needed. This doesn't mean to say they cant do it again further down the line thou...
  17. Slipknot consist of 9 Band members and that is the way they like it, If one does more or less than another member doesn't change the fact he's in the band. What we see is the public face of the band not what goes on in the background, i presume they all bring something to the group or they wouldn't be there. Bez from The Happy Mondays what did he actually do in the band apart from Dance and shake the Morracca's ( sorry for the spelling ), but if he wasn't there he'd be missed.
  18. 1. Simple Minds - New Gold Dream (81,82,83,84) 2. Marillion - Misplaced Childhood 3. Metallica - Master of Puppets 3. Slayer - Reign In Blood 5. Pink Floyd - The Wall
  19. As good as all the bands were i would say the night belonged to Slayer, they were absolutely amazing, from start to finish i just thought they were untouchable. Slipknot were excellant too, they put on a great show, i just wished they actually played the intro song to the new album instead of using the recording. I do think the sit down during spit it out is getting a bit tired now thou, they should come up with something fresh. Mastodon were superb, it was just a shame they had such a short stage time, the sight of the guitars being raised during March of the Fire Ants was a highlight for me its just such a groovey song. As for Hatebreed i did enjoy them but like a few other comments made earlier i did think all the songs sounded the same, one things for sure they do know how to get a crowd moving. Just imagine what it would be like to see them play somewhere like the Garage, now that would be worth seeing. All in all a flippin' excellant bill and fuckin' amazing concert.
  20. Well what can i say they were amazing in Forres its just a shame i cant make it to the Aberdeen gig The second support was good too but didn't think much of the boy from Grim Northern Social bit full of himself i thought. Tell us how you got on at Drumonds Link to Casbah Club@The Loft Forres
