It's pretty quiet in here this year. Anyone want a fight? Just for old times sake?
-
That's probably because it isn't happening, huh?
-
TTA for me, who are the best of a bad bunch... in my opinion, and going by myspace recordings. Why have Snake Temple Kings no here?
I woulda prefered to have a negative vote. So i could take a vote away from Eric Euan, they gotta end up in minus votes! haha
-
we'll never make it that far
I was trying to be optimistic. It'll be more like a coach back from Dover. haha
-
are you aware the bands playing the fudge awards this year are "donating" their fees to charity?
So that's your flights back from Turkey sorted.. hahaha
-
I would expect a rebate of anywhere between 1/4 - 1/3 of the price payed. Which should in theory cover the repairs, although i'm no expert on the costs involved in repairing lacquer etc..
Bonny Guitar too, nice find!
-
Any chance of the Bonesaw album going into One Up at some point? Very keen to hear it....
I thought that would have been done already... but yeah, it will be!

I think he's on more of a paraphenalia (sic?) tip, than phenotype search. Visit Glasgow for the day and get a Volcano.
Aye that's true, does Shaggy's in the Inshops do those legal highs n stuff? I've never been tempted myself but know folks who love smoking pot-puri! hahaha

one at the arches also
bottom of south college street, turn left at traffic lights then left along the street about 2 mins
Which is called "Abergreen", There is also Gav up beside Poundland in Woodside, beside the Haddows etc at the Fountain (It's called the founain but there isn't a fountain to be seen!), Great Northern Road. Gav being the cheaper and most knowledgable patron i've dealt with.

Well if your going to play fast, you might as well sound good doing it, thats my motto!
How good drums sound is entirely down to the individual listening, what you think sounds good i'm almost possible Calum wouldn't agree with.. and not just to be a picky khunt either! haha or, maybe it is..

Rabies Caste Bonesaw , Jor & Mindjuice Dr Drakes 16/11/02.
I keep records of most gigs i go to
That wasn't our first gig though. It was our first headline gig. Was quite funny being put on after an Earache band, cause they thought the place would empty after the local band finished. haha Good old days.
This was our first gig - 09/09/2002 @ Dr. Drakes, Aberdeen, w/Black Atom, Certain Death, Metal Militia & Brawler.
-
James let me listen to the tracks and sounds really good for you guys.
Not saying as an insult in anyway shape or form.
It sure sounds like one... hahahaha
-
For a gig just over a month away you'd think it would be.
It is listed on the Naplam Death myspace site so it just be a case of putting tickets onsale.
Aye, you'd think so..
-
The Arson Project and Deranged are alright. Still another say 67 bands to be announced haha.
Putrescence are good. They are on the Nasum Tribute Disc too.
-
I hear these guys are playing so far.. The Arson Project, Avulsed, Deranged, Warpath, Purulent Jacuzzi and Putrescence.
Looking aright, already! haha
-
hmmmm pretty good actually. The riffs all flow pretty well, with "Of Flame And Retribution" also being my fav outta the two. But, i think it coulda benefited from a fast section over the slower section with the weird rhythm. Good effort though, and killer sound, where did this happen then?
-
Estel. Easy.
yeah i voted Estel too.. but there spaz tracks are nothing on the live experience!
-
Haha what part of the set are you referring too with regards to the megaeverythingfallstopeicesstupiddrums part
I'm guessing that is Jason KCHGH... and the cymbal stand kept going limp during there set..
-
This has been confirmed. More details will be available soon. Keep yer eyes peeled.
No offence, but i'd rather hear that from a creditable source.
-
Yeah i used Dennis before too. Top bloke. BUt there is a place slightly closer. The guys who did maintenance work for "Sound Control" set up a wee shop in Dundee. I have a wee business card for them.. i'll look it out. Had a wee hunt online to no avail.
i persevered - Rattle n Hum

Yeah, so stoked this is going to happen. I'm giving the promoter a hand in getting this through so hopefully it will be confirmed this week if things go smoothly. Massive thanks to Hen for getting this running though!
Sweet, sooner the better!

So... when you said you "really loved AIC", you meant that you loved Dirt and the rest are mediocre?
I think we can all agree that Dirt is by far their best album but I think the rest are ace too.
Well Dirt was only just released when i got into them. Even though i had heard Facelift a while before that.. Think AIC support Megadeth when they toured UK? Was around then i heard Facelift as a mate saw them then. Took Dirt to convince me. I also like the "Sap" & "Jar of Flies" EP's. Otherwise aye, the rest are mediocre.

haha.. does 1 gig in 6+ months really count?
-
please note this gig is not confirmed yet
hen @ the tunnels
Thought that actually.. canna stop smoke signals though.. haha
