  1. saw it last night' date=' thought it was great, but, the plot hole about the microwave was an amzingly bad oversight...err...wouldn't that vaporise all the water in your body too mr Neeson ?...ah, bidy water is different to water water...[/quote']

That bothered me too, but in true golden age comic fashion, I'm just going to assume that a Wizard did it.

  2. I think the going into a shop and asking for make-believe products is the best one' date=' or even buying something shit like an apple - which the til operator has to weigh - one after the other in the express que... zaney![/quote']

...And you'd be perfectly happy if that happened on your till, right?

  3. Batman was ALWAYS shit scary.

And on a nerdier note, I think the thing in the film is his cape's made of a semi-rigid fabric that solidifies when an electrical current is bassed through it, so it can be used for gliding.

    Hence the big-ness.

  4. I believe in it' date=' My mum's ex husband tried to kill her on a number of occasions and later died of cancer. One of my mum's bosses made her life hell, she later died of cancer. My sisters (much older) boyfriend treat her like shit, he died in september... of cancer. When my dad was a teen he was bullied by this guy who rode a motorbike and one day he stepped over the line with my dad but he held himself back, the guy rode off into the sunset.... crashed his bike and died.

It's kinda scary to think of it actually.[/quote']

Or maybe your family's just got crazy mystical revenge powers?

I find it hard to believe in karma when I constantly see great things happening to awful people, and awful things happening to people who've done nothing to deserve them.

  5. "My opposition to the death penalty is fairly core, I object to the damage it does to my spirit for my government to kill people because my government is supposed to be me and I object to me killing people." - Steve Earle.

Anyone who is in favour of the death penalty should first take a step back and consider whether they would really, truly be willing to throw the switch or push the plunger on the needle and end that person's life. And if you wouldn't be willing to do it yourself, why do you support it at all?

Not to mention that it begs the question...if you would be willing to, are you any better than the criminal on the receiving end?
