  1. I still like tootling about now and then, you still get the odd laugh if the right people are on. But some times are better than others. If there's too many american 12 yr olds calling each other's mom's faggots or something I'll leave it for another time.

And am I the only one who doesn't instantly shoot every other player they see, then wait for them to respawn and kill them again? That quickly gets tiresome.

  2. With you on that.  It's really awkward.  Coins go in my pocket, notes in my wallet, receipt in the bag.  To be honest they should give me notes in one hand, coins in the other and wait to give me the receipt until after I've sorted all the change out.  If they thrust everything into one hand then I usually take a really long time to sort everything out and everyone in the queue behind gets annoyed for having to wait a bit longer.  But they all know it's the cashiers fault.  And that I'm a badass.

Fuck that. Grab the cash and get the fuck out my way. Go tidy your purse outside.

  3. I keep seeing this image on Facebook.

I've been wondering what it comes from, then tonight by sheer coincidence I was driving home from work and "Safety Dance" by Men At Work came on, and it's from that. So my question is, why is the Safety Dance relevant in 2014? Has it been in a Glee episode or something?

    Because internetz.

  4. Noone has really said anything about why they like bands either

Well yes, but you could say that if someone likes a band, then they don't need to change anything so don't need to know why they're liked. Or at least it's more important to find out why someone doesn't like your band, then you can think about changing that.

And I probably shouldn't have said the word 'rules' either, any comment is useful. I just think this thread could be really useful for informing bands what they're doing right and what they're doing wrong. Might just be something they haven't realised themselves, and can do something about. Then we can all be brilliant, and get rich and famous and that.

  5. Thought this was a good idea for a thread until everyone started wimping out of the bad comments. They're the only thing that stops this turning into a 'who do you like?' thread which is pretty pointless.
The rule is, you have to say the worst along with the best. But you also have to say why.

    Feedback people, feedback.

I'm also moving it to the feedback forum...

  6. People who work in the city centre (e.g. an office on or just off Union Street) and drive, where the fuck do you park?

Your best bet might be to go west, young man. Union Grove or Great Western Road direction, as far as I know parking is free anywhere West of Ashley Road. Not too far to walk along Union Grove.

  7. So really I was kinda right considering I was 3 when it moved so I would never have known

Fair enough. You are now a mod. We'll hook you up with the requisite powers shortly.

Mr Rathen, you are to hand in your badge and delete button with immediate effect.

You, sir, have pissed on the grave of the Aberdeen Music SceneTM.

  8. To me the likelihood of Dylan Farrow writing an open letter with such detail and lying is far far less than it being the truth. She'd be leaving herself open to a lot of legal trouble were it all a fabrication. I'm not saying that there isn't a possibility that he's innocent and I strongly believe in innocent untill proven guilty - as you say the opposite can lead to equally terrible outcomes. That said, if I have an opinion at all it is that he is guilty and so far there's no evidence to persuade me otherwise.

She's not lying if she really believes it happened. And that doesn't necessarily mean it did.
