I saw Avenged Sevenfold at the Astoria and though they sucked and the singer kept doing this thing where he looked like he was jumping on one of those crappy aerobics trampolines and then taking sips of his water and not really doing much. The Bronx rock all your Mums and I don't even know why I'm writing this because I don't care and I'm trying to update my LJ grrrrrrr.

It's called Clones. What does everyone think of it? Time ago, Ash were one of my favourite bands ever, I still count 1977 as one of my favourite albums of all time and, unlike some, I really liked nu-clear sounds too. But I felt really let down with Free All Angels and was pleased to hear Tim and the boys (+ girl) saying they would be returning to their rockier former selves for the next album. So I only just saw the video for the first time and I must say I'm quite impressed, I think it might have to grow on me but hopefully their new album will be just as good, if not better, than 1977. And that would take some effort. Oh and Charlotte looks gorgeous in the video.

I've still not seen it but I do have an original cinema poster although technically it's Syes now....

You just reminded me of a day last summer when me, Jeid, Queen Kong, Paulscoconutass, Roscco, Sludge and other people spent a whole afternoon doing nothing on belmont street just moving from one side of the street to the other abd laughing at the way Gordon's kids run. Then Sye came to meet us and we went to Ma Camerons for our tea. What an ace day. I really don't miss there being a whole page of new threads every half hour though. That totally sucked.

My ticket arrived today which was tres exciting because it came in an envelope with THIS IS NOT A CIRCULAR written on it, which made me instantly think it was junk and want to throw it in the bin. And the cheeky fuckers are charging an extra 10 this year making a ticket with booking fee and p&p around 115. But get them soon, they're not expected to last long this year.
