Yeah, I know - I was looking at a 1.4CL Polo, 5 doors. Not cheap, but meh. It'll go down a fair bit with Pass Plus when I do that. There were some quotes at 4 grand for the same thing, so I'd much rather pay 1400.

For a 1 litre N reg fiesta I was getting quoted at just over a grand for insurance. It's high because I'm a 17 year old boy apparently.

One time a white van drove past me while I was walking my dog, the driver didn't bother to move out a little despite my reflective clothing (to get to where I walk my dog, you have to walk on the side of the road for about 12 metres as there's no pavement) and so the wing mirror of his car cracked into my arm as he drove past at about 50/60 mph. Now, this hurt like hell and caused the wing mirror to break off of his vehicle, it also made a big noise - and the bastard didn't stop! So everyone, leave cars alone but fuck up any white van that you see - the people who drive them are cunts!

Oh, and I still have the wing mirror, although the mirrored part of it shattered when it hit my arm/the ground. Difficult to tell which.

Anybody else taken their theory test?

I took mine today, I was fairly bricking it as I'd done almost nothing to prepare for it (wasn't worried about the multiple choice, it's easy as fuck - the hazard perception's the bit that scared me).

Anyway, I passed mine with 34/35 for the multiple choice and 60/75 for the hazard perception, so I'm quite pleased at the moment.

Now all I gotta do is learn how to drive and take that damn practical test
