  1. i don't think they're that new to be honest. my ex liked them and introduced me to their music about two years ago. pretty much everyone has heard trailer trash. personally, i like them. i dunno.. each to their own and all that..
  2. i think it depends on the band. i haven't been to many stadium gigs.. just feeder, radiohead, muse and rhcp. all were very good but i think that a stadium suited their sets better. bands such as easyworld and the cooper temple clause belond in clubs. just because. there is generally a better atmosphere in clubs too.
  3. come work with me at baker's oven. you get a sexy uniform, cheap sandwhiches and, of course, the plasure of working with me
  4. i'd imagine around 8ish? meh. i dunno..

  6. i listened to the killers album today.. ooooh, muchos impressed!
  7. i bought it today along with the killers' album.. i think it is absoloutely fantastic. they remind me of early manics, but they are good all the same and totally refreshing

  10. the rapture are good.. midtown are fantastic punk-pop which is sweet.. stellastarr* are pretty good too and i'm still in love (AHAHAHA. see the joke?) with the stills. they are bloody great! i urge everyone to go and buy their album because it's amazing!
  11. i dont like the way everyone's 'anti-avril' JUST because she isnt cool. i like her. she's cute and writes catchy POP (yes i said POP) songs. lynch me if you like
  12. haha i'll probably get both because i'm a little spending whore
  13. no, i never meant the nme broke the story about him leaving, but they had the exclusive (apparently) on him being sent to the priory. initially, when reading this thread and posting my reply, i knew nothing about pete leaving, so i guess, in a way, you could say that i had completely the wrong end of the stick. i apologise for that. it wasn't until i went onto livejournal and read my friends pages that i realised he had left/was leaving. actually, i had heard babyshambles prior to the libertines, so i dunno. maybe i'm wrong. apologies for my lame answer. i really shouldn't try and say anything vaguely intelligent in the future *hides under rock*
  14. yeah smaller t-shirts, plus a wider choice and i hope the second-hand section stays because it's cheap and great
  15. it's not as good as previous stuff and i guess the new album will be more 'experimental', but it's growing on me!
  16. talking of soulwax albums.. anyone recommend which one i should get?
  17. oh man. i love the killers. can't wait for t!
  18. stephen, you've just made my life a hell of a lot better! thankyou!
  19. (oooh look. i've started two threads on one day) Dunno if this is in the right forum. If it isn't, feel free to attack me with big sticks. I saw a Soulwax video on the 'MTV2 Years' today and I remember falling in love with it when i was about 13. I was pleased to hear it again but I stupidly forgot the name of it! I've tried searching on Kazaa but not too much stuff is coming up (bearing in mind that I've only heard a couple of Soulwax songs) Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew what the song was. It was in the 1999 'era' and the title had intercom in it (that much I can remember). The video was pretty much just a basic performance. If ANYONE knows the title of it I would love you forever!
  20. dude. should just get us to throw up on it then it'll be 'broken in' good and proper (we'll feed doop raw eggs so she gets salmonela) or why don't you just get one from a charity shop and.. i dunno.. vandalise it a bit? dunno. i are teh charity shop princess and all that jazz
