  1. They ain't original, but that don't mean they're shit. There was some pretty cool tapping on some of their stuff.
  2. My Minds Weapon-This Is Revenge
  3. Shit, if the musics good i couldn't give a rats ass who puts it out. In the end most bands would release their material wherever they can, if it happens to make them some money in the long run then all power too them. Just because they get more exposure on majors doesn't mean they've sold out. You're favourite bands can still have integrity on a major label you know.
  4. Oooooh, wonder where you got this idea from stephen??? For me it's Jimmy Eat World-Futures notable mentions for Killswitch Engage, Further Seems Forever, Biffy Clyro and Atreyu.
  5. i saw cloud at Captain Everything last night, he looked flustered.
  6. Cool, sorry i'm in a shit mood, thought you were taking the piss by using my exact words- makes sense now though. and i'm shit with exclaimation/question marks i'm always thinking one but typing the other. In answer, i think they're pretty funny, 'cause they kinda take the piss outta themselves with their image etc. As with everything a lot of fans seem to take it far too seriously and take it too far. There have been far more deaths due to satanic bands music than due to christian band's music. But you can't blame the bands for that.
  7. I'm sure Bright Eyes wouldn't need to buy tickets if they were playing.
  8. Not too keen on Mark, heard his stuff- didn't like the production. Speak to someone like Shawn from prosound, he knows what he's doing and he's an awesome guy.
  9. Well i thought i'd made headway with this guy, obviously not. I hoped he would see that the actions of the few can not be laid accountable to the many. All i have to say on the matter is that i believe what i believe and i'm happy for anyone to believe whatever they want. Remember this was a thread about christian imigary in modern music, not about taking pot shots at each others beliefs. Take it easy Phil
  10. I've got to be up for most shaggable male this year man.
  11. Don't you agree that it isn't religion itself that is telling people to do these things, but a small percentage of people using religion to their own advantages, either in war or persecution etc? I mean islamic and muslim teachings do not point to confrontation towards the western world and its ideals, but some people who practise the faith use it like that, and vice versa.
  12. oh dear, oh dear. Christianity does not 'demand' obedience at all. The true underlying message behind all religions like christianity is love, respect and faith in others. It is very sad to see that you view religion this way, although it seems to be the norm these days with the way that supposed religious people use their faiths as weapons and tools of spite. As i said i am not religious, but i do however believe in the above.
  13. Might just check out Low then, any mp3s? I myself am not religious although i do identify with the lyrics of many religious bands. I like bands such as: Further Seems Forever, Norma Jean, Dead Poetic, Emery etc. In fact if you're interested check out www.toothandnail.com
