Rachie
2) Choose to refuse - allows you to block the last number to call you even if you cant see the number (ie you dial a code after thay prank you and it'll block that number from there on.) Take into account though if they're doing it from more than one number you'll have to keep blocking lots. If I remember rightly you can get this free for 3 months' date=' and again doesnt work on unavailable numbers.[/quote']Believe it's now only free for 28 days... Guest Scorge Spike
Anonymous Call Reject is 4 a month. Choose To Refuse is free for a month, then 3.35 a month afterwards. A renumber is free of charge. That's your options, land line wise......
Cloud
BT cannot give you the number of whos been calling you' date=' and Im fairly certain cant even tell who it was anyway.[/quote']Oh, BT can tell allright - why do you think, for instance, 999/112 operators know where the call has came from? If I recall rightly, the only difference between a call that has the number presented and the number withheld is that the withheld call has a "flag" set on it so caller ID sees withheld as opposed to the number. Choose to Refuse/Anonymous Call Rejection are nothing but moneymaking scams for BT at the end of the day - how much does it cost them in real terms to block the calls? fuck all. Incidentally, Camie..are you sure it isn't call centres trying to get through to you? They usually take 10 or so seconds to start speaking, which is a fucking pain...especially when they start trying to sell you stuff :\

Due to 'privacy rights' BT cannot disclose whos calling you even if they;re making life hell. Emergency services I imagine are allowed to based on the argument of sometimes having to respond to an emergency where the person has number withheled and doesnt manage to give a location.
