Guest JockeySnogger
Putting duck tape on a cats side or back will make it walk really oddly?(No tests please)
Guest MarkJDelaney
I take it you saw a video clip of this happening online or on TV? I'm not sure if it is true... I wouldn't think so. Although it makes you wonder if you can train a cat to walk like that on command if it isn't...

Guest MarkJDelaney
Not that it makes much of a difference... but I don't think it was actually duct tape. Some sort of other tape
qzdiablo
if you tape the cat's legs to its side or back then yes, it will walk in a different manner
Hardcore Mel
you know if you drop a cat from higher than 7 stories or lower than 5 storeys it's likely to survive. at 7 storeys it reaches terminal velocity and when it does that it can puff itself out like a squirrel does and parachute down. just never drop it from 6 storeys because won't give it enough time to hit terminal velocity but it's too far down for it to just land. Skacel
we always got taught the terminal velocity thing with a spider rather than a catthe cats terminal velocity would still probably be enough for it to die though, and kill who ever it lands on. i'm away to find myself a cat
Penny
does it make the cat walk like a duck?
Deepdrinker
I wouldnt mind testing the duct tape or the lobbing of cats out of the window test but has anyone got a cat i can borrow i promise i will give it back in 1 piece, i am just not sure which it will be.Deepdrinker
PrincessHolly
This sounds a little like robo-cat: where you put smartie tubes on your kitties legs and make it walk funny. I consulted a trainee vet though and she said it probably wasn't very nice for the kitty. I don't care cos Cats hate me.
New Found Power
If I seem to remember physics correctly the mass of an object has no bearing on the speed at which it falls...Only in a vacuum....I think.Unless Robert Boyle's been lying to me from beyond the grave.
