meiklejohn Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 Ive got a pedalboard and a bucket load of pedals which i use however... when i decided im going to try and play with the pure marshall tone... i plugged in the footswtich and it works but with a crazy buzz, i tried changing things around and playing without the footswitch but its still not working? any ideas? is it a common thing? thanks in advance for your advice Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Soda Jerk Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 Is it a valve amp? I had a harsh, menacing buzz coming from my amp recently. It was pissing all over my righteous tone. Horrible, it was.I swapped out all the preamp valves for some shiny new Tung Sols. The buzz was gone, and my righteous tone lived on.
