french_disko
for some reason, I can't get the PS3 to display on the LCD tv via the HDMI cable. According to the TV instructions, it should display on EXT-05 but I check that & there's nowt. Works ok via SCART, however. Is it is some setting I need to set up or change on the PS3? Chris
Have you checked the other channels? My TV has a channel specifically marked HDMI in the options. Wouldn't have thought you have to do anything with the PS3 except plug it in, could be wrong though. What make and model is your TV?
Johnny Mac
I just connected my ps3 to the tv with the HDMI cable and that was it.I have an HDMI button on my remote though (Samsung TV).
Alkaline
You need to reset the output if you've been using it on a Scart connection. Hold down the on button on the front with everything connected up and it on the correct channel on the TV until you hear a couple of beeps and the output settings should change and you should get a picture once the handshake is successful.Hope that helps. andrew.
yeah, sometimes it takes me a few attempts to switch between scart/hdmi, but resetting should do the trick
french_disko
I gave it a quick try late last night without much success - I'll spend a bit more time later today try again though. Cheers.
