jamesbroonbreed
Holy shit! Anyone got any super top tips for this as I don't like the idea of changing guitar strings to be a two man job.
Bigsby
I'll handle this one. First wrap the ball end round a biro to form a little curve. Then attach it to the Bigsby. Then pull the string along the fretboard. Then (and here's the brilliant bit) attach a capo. You can then tighten the string at the tuning peg without it falling off.Ta dah. jamesbroonbreed
Good call.I pretty much did the same except I used a flatmate instead of a capo.I was putting on 12-56's which didn't help matters either.Must admit it's pretty fucking awkward though. Why don't the strings just go through the bar like any other guitar? Time to start bringing a spare to gigs.

jamesbroonbreed
Kinda like a bonobo making love to a stripper except it's a vibrato (not tremelo) bar .

Bigsby
Epiphone dotGotcha, think we played with you at The Tunnels last month. I had my Silvertone Hornet that night instead of my Gretsch. Shame, we could have compared Bigsbys.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Shame, we could have compared Bigsbys.I think standard etiquette would be that you at least buy him a drink first.

Bigsby
Crake. One of the bands had an Epiphone dot with a Bigsby, maybe somebody else has one too.
