Guest Electric Tibet
8o 8o That's the greatest thing I have ever seen, thankyou Amy. I want to form a band playing only computer game music!CastlevaniaSuper Mario Bros 1/2/3/worldSonicMegamanStreet Fighter 2ZeldaOutrun!!!!!I've mastered the underground theme with the coin and jump effect but I just can't get the pipe and power up sounds. I found some sections of tab, supposedly by the guy from the video, but it doesn't make sense. Unless you can play at the 8th and 15th frets simultaneously. Guest Electric Tibet
This is the tab that the actual guy (he's called KeiicHi) supposedly posted. It doesn't cover the whole thing|-12-12-12-1215||8-3-5-7-6-5|-12-15-17-13-15-12-8-10-7-|||-1312||5-1-5X-X-X-X|XXXXX-10-68-X-|||-11-11-11-11-111212-||5-X-X5-7-6-5|-12-12-16-17-14-16X-XX-7-|||||5-2-53-5-4-3|-10-10-14-15-12-14-10-79-5-|||10-||3|X|||-10-10-10-10-10|||-12||( X 2 ) |15-14-13-11-1288-10-||17-16-15-12-139-10810||-09-1059-10-||1010||8-8-||-8||15-14-13-11-122020-20||17-16-15-12-132020-20||-02222-22||10||-10-||-8||15-14-13-11-1288-10-||17-16-15-12-139-10810||-09-1059-10-||1010||8-8-||-8||-||16-15-13||13-15-12||10||11-1310-10-||-88-|Bits of it don't make any sense to me (like the beginning). As for my interpretation of the sounds. The jump noise can be done with a slide up on the G string from the 3rd fret. The coin noise is harmonics at the 5th fret on the B and E strings. I think the pipe noise is playing harmonics high up on the neck (like past the end of the fingerboard) while muting with the right hand and strumming upwards quickly. As for the power up noise, I don't have a clue, but it seems to involve sweep picking. The man's a god.
Mac Atom
Jesus Christ!!! That is serious stunt guitar, what a legend. Where did you find that tab dude??P.S. I'd love to join your computer game band - nothing beats the bonus level noise in Sonic 2, its the only stunt noise i can do but it soooo satisfying
