Aged 14-26? Free Recording @ Torry Youth Project

After some rescheduling at the T.Y.P Music Studio, THURSDAYS have been opened up for FREE recording.

I posted a while back and shortlisted some bands but with speaker repairs and new equipment orders its best to offer first come, first serve "Recording THURSDAY".

Here's the deal, I can offer 2 slots. Slot 1. 2 p.m - 5 p.m

Slot 2. 6 p.m - 9 p.m

Ideally one band per slot but if arranged in advance one band could occupy both slots.

The recording will take place at the T.Y.P studio on the decided THURSDAY. This very audical offer starts this THURSDAY 31ST JANUARY 2008. And could run up to the summer, who knows? It just would be nice to hear bands come and record at our very nice facility.

All the information i need is:

Bands Name?

Which THURSDAY your band can make and which slot?Date?

How many members?

What equipment will you take of your own?

EQUIPMENT LIST: Crate GLX head n cab.

Fender Bass amp

Yamaha Fusion Drumkit

Fender and Laney Combo's

Strat, Tele, Warrick Real Bass, Digi drums

Enough mics, 15 channels of live recording if needed.

Couple o' MIDI modules

Tambourines, 2 of. etc...

I does exactly what it says on the tin.

I know i only put this up a little while ago. But we are talking FREE recording. No catches. Organise a THURSDAY with myself. Turn up and record. It doesn't matter what your band records it FREE, FREE, FREE!! Unless everyone on this board is too old. The priority for the recording is 14-26 year olds but blind eyes maybe turned. I could use the experience. 3 track demo could be done in 3 hours...

14th of FEB, SLOT#2 has been taken.

I will update the list of taken dates as soon as i can.

All the other THURSDAYS are free so far. If there is a clash of requests for a certain day i must give on first come first serve basis, but will try and reorganize or suggest other dates. So if your really interested and don't want to miss out, suggest a few THURSDAYS which you or your band could make. Thank Ya!
