kirkt
Anyone heard this CD? I got it yesterday and it's definitely one of the best things I've heard all year. The anarchist-punk songs of Crass re-interpreted by the New York anti-folk singer (for fans of Mouldy Peaches, Dufus etc) who is a massive fan of the band. Some really interesting takes on the songs while by no means compromising the lyrical content of the band. It's on Rough Trade now. You can watch a video of the man performing Crass here YouTube - Jeffrey Lewis Helen Schreiner 12 Crass Songs Live NYC pt.
