WoodyRATM
So what did anyone who went think of it?I thought Ghost of a thousand were good from what i heard, only caught the last 2 songs thanks to the massive bloody que. Saosin were also really good, didnt think id like them. but they grew on me. might go and get their albums.Alexisonfire were awesome. Thats pretty much all i can say. Except the bassist looked like he was on something...What did everyone else think?
ben_1903
ghost of a thousand were good, i caught their whole set. They were maybe a bit samey, and the lack of any singing vocals was not so good. They were like a hardcore version of reuben, only without the singing.Saosin were utterly amazing, the drummer was ace.Alexis were the muts nuts. Totally awesome. ben_1903
its not as though alexis are particularly emo though...yes lyrically. but they are an awful lot more adult and 'hard' listening than some of the shite that passes for emo, and indeed rock music, these days. medichi
I wasn't there, but I can guarantee Ghost of a Thousand were the best band that night....
ben_1903
I wasn't there, but I can guarantee Ghost of a Thousand were the best band that night....they were good, deffinately have potential but were a bit boring at times. Songs rather samey nd all shouting. no dynamics to vocals or guitars.good though - very energetic performance.alexis were best, followed by saosin, then ghost.
