I can categorically say that I was not involved in this.

justice, Belfast style.

I can't think of another city that is as imaginative with it's punishment beatings, and for that I am proud to be a citizen.

It made me think about the olden days....

In my hometown when I was younger, they used to have the placards and posters of Johnny Adair, with "His only crime was loyalty" emblazoned on the bottom, and myself and a friend always wanted to change them to: "His only Loyalty Was Crime."

But we didn't, for the obvious reasons.

I became noted on the 'scene' for a brief period of time when my accent was first picked up upon...

In fact, somewhere on here, I think there's a thread about it or something.

But that's all in the past now....*sniff*

Nah....like all Northern irish people, he was really friendly and polite, and posed for the photos cos he saw the funny side to it.

It's all just a big laugh, and peole over here are not really cruel and barbaric.
