Keyboard socket?

Recommended Posts

I use a 1/4 Jack from my Keyboards headphone socket directly to my laptops soundcard but this cuts out any sound so I can't actually hear what Im playing! Is there a way round this? BTW, no, I dont want to mike up the speakers.

whichever software you're using should let you monitor the mic input while you're recording/playing, no need for an extra lead or anything...

I use Adobe Audition Stripey. For some reason, I can't seem to hear anything from the computer speakers when actually recording.
