For anyone that is any of the bands for this tremendous night... Be aware that there will be very tight soundcheck and stage times. All enforced with a big grin! Bit of a mad day ( afternoon gig as well) all round but we at Dr ake's never shy from a challenge!! And will ensure that all are catered for and happy!

See ye all there!

Jim

Just watch you don't attract any Football Kasules!

Very droll & clever Mr Cynic, I believe the name Kasule comes from the 1st black

footballer to play in Scotland in the 1920's.

Kasule are proper football fans & support Albion Rovers, their home town team.

Thanks, Graeme.....that's the chap! Mind you, he never turned professional.

My son gave me a t-shirt with Giles Heron on it (played for Celtic in the 50s and is Gil Scott-Heron's dad). I don't support Celtic, but I DO like Gil Scott-Heron, so it's cool.

Gil Scott-Heron once wandered through Glasgow city centre wearing a celtic scarf and a rangers hat, I'm told ...

I think celtic had Scotland's first Asian player too, Abdul Salim. He was famous for playing with his feet wrapped in bandages, rather than wearing boots.

Is Gil Scott Heron still performing ? - I remember there was rumours that he had got a really bad crack habit, hence his last cancelled Ltree performances,

Dave
