Monk Rocker
I hate it when a band come's on and goes "Erm, hello. Sorry if we are crap" Usually teen-angst ridden bands.
Guest Jake Wifebeater
I find that a gig often depends on the crowd. The stuff we play (pretty primitive buzzsaw noise/grind) isn't the most popular, but if we can get some gags/crowd banter on the go then it seems to make people warm to us a bit if we include them. Our best gig was probably Drake's in April, the Audio Dropouts night. We really enjoyed that one, giving the crowd a good laugh. I've heard of a fair few folk saying it's not their thing but they enjoyed the gags between songs.
