scottST
my guitarist has that amp.check the fan bit at the back. there are small black plastic caps over the screws holding it in place. his one was making an awful noise, it just turned out to be one of these small pieces of plastic which had dislodged and was being hit by the fan. Mouse
Never knew that model has a fan. My AVT has and in 26 months so far I've had no problems with that amp
Guest DustyDeviada
I used to have one, and it would make that noise when you first turned it on for a couple of minutes.According to reviews on Harmony Central it seems to be pretty common. trainspotting77
i have that amp, but have never really been bothered by the fan as i am always playing through it while it is on, which i think is what you are ment to do. Do you sit listening to it or something?

Mouse
Ha ha! The fan on my amp doesn't bother me, it's more reassuring knowing it's preventing your amp from overheating
