Intravenous
According to the Sunday times today:Aberdeen has the highest level of antisocial behaviour in Scotland, followed by Glagsow.Edinburgh has highest crime rates over all, with the highest rate of drug offences, acts of vandalism, fire-raising and crimes involving offensive weapons.Glasgow has the highest rate of murders, attempted murders, serious assaults and robberies. Is anyone else suprised? I wouldn't have thought Aberdeen was more anti-social than Glasgow, or that Edinburgh had that much crime ?( . I suppose you could expect Edinburgh to have more drug problems and thefts because it attracts more tourists and money though.
Davey_sc
I couldn't imagine the 'Deen being more ASBO orientated than Glasgae, but there you go. Edinburgh is Scotland's Afghanistan it seems.
Camie
Yeh like Sharon said maybe more people report it up hear than down in Glasgow.
Scootray
It's definitely surprising, considering that Aberdeen's Ned:General Population ratio is lower than that of Glasgow's.
Scootray
I don't really see neds as the ones who get into the serious assaults. I mean, of course they do, but they are much more renowned for causing a nuisance.
Chris
it's probably based on antisocial behaviour orders enforced, and as there was a concerted push to use ASBOs to deal with boy racers here then it's going to distort the figures a bit. pogofish
Also, it might well be more focused in Aberdeen alone whilst Glasgow's problems are centered around several different places. Never mind places that are technically in Lanarkshire as well
