Yeah, a totally phenomenal line up probably never to be repeated outside of Triptych

Mute Records: Wire + Liars + Pan Sonic + Modey Lemon + Kaito + DJxDJ + Tim Wright + Chris and Cosey + Irmin Schmidt and Kumo play Can + Komputer + Pink Grease + T. Raumschmiere

Thursday 29th April

Doors 7pm

Tickets 16.50 inc Booking Fee

Wire: critically influential 70s art punks, 80s indie electronic stalwarts

Liars: Liars are the sound of panic, of hearts beating too fast, that moment when things fall apart NME

Pan Sonic: Finnish ambient duo whose mesmerizing work includes seminal remixes for the likes of Bjork and KLF

Modey Lemon: their heady blend of garage rock and screaming synths has won many fans, including John Peel and Jack White

Kaito: A band bursting with enough art-rock firepower to rip through our sinuses NME

DJxDJ: Laptop shenanigans from duo which include Mute founder Daniel Miller

Tim Wright: expect huge slabs of thunderous techno, dark electro and UK garage

Chris and Cosey: Co-founders of cult legends Throbbing Gristle, and therefore the genre of industrial music

Irmin Schmidt and Kudo play Can: Can were one of the most influential groups of the last century. Founder member Schmidt teams up with electronic composer Kudo for an exclusive set

Pink Grease: Glam-punks of whom The Independent on Sunday wrote, either the worst band Ive seen in my life or the best

T. Raumschemiere: Berlin-based synth-punk dervish.

Aye that's a lot of top quality artists, probebly the best ever LT line up. Pity Unknown Pleasures veterans Komputer keep getting missed from detail?????

Good point Chilli, well spotted, Komputer are on the bill too. The Triptych brochure says of them:

Komputer - teutonic synth pop and a homage to Kraftwerk from the London duo, who filter old school sounds, ambient noise and hypnotic percussion through contemporary digital wares.

Defining themselves as 'two blokes sat at a small table with a sampler and a couple of control boxes,' while sounding like Eno, Morricone and Pole, Komputer's unapologetic brand of 70's electro pop and analogue synth histrionics is charmingly infectious and reassuringly familiar.

Sounds ace, how were they at Unknown Pleasures?
