OHMs resistance do a magic range of "good old school" drum n bass 10 and 12" plates....he's (kurt Gluck) got heaps of decent acts on his home grown lable...worth checking out :

i wouldnt call lamb, alec empire or 3rd eye foundation drum and bass. they have influences but its somehign different.(btw iv been told veneitian snares and cex is drill and bass, not a term i like to use, its meaningless.)

Strangely the Cex stuff I've heard always make me think of electronica or left field hip hop.

Alec Empire - like a lot of DHR artists they take from a lot of different genres and that often involves a mutated form of jungle. Still best not to play it to yer granny...

Drill n bass - a lovely term for an industrial / krautrock band. Think early Kluster!
