TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Has anyone heard them? From NME's review they said that they sounded like the breeders and a bit like belly, which would be right up my street. But then again, this was NME I was reading.
Rob
I've had the album on import for ages now. i really like them. would like to see them at Glasgow Barfly in April
Swingin' Ryan
I thought I'd love them from the NME review, but I was a touch disappointed, they have all the right ideas but the songs are a bit lacklustre. On the plus side the drummer plays synths and drums at the same time. The Like who they've been touring with are better IMO.oh and you can hear them on www.MySpace.com/giantdrag
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I want to hear the like too... I'm very rarely disappointed by girls playing pop songs with a fuzz box.
Simmie
I got The Like and Giant Drag albums on import at the end of last year, and they're both very good. The Like would probably be my favourite of the two though - it's definitely the one I've listened to most.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Got the giant drag album and had a few listens... It's super good, I can see a breeders and my bloody valentine influence. Next on my shopping list is the like album whenever that comes out...
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I have decided that the Giant Drag album is possibly the best thing I've heard in about 842 million years. I am listening to that and Station to Station constantly at the moment...

I am listening to that and Station to Station constantly at the moment...It's certainly made me think 2006 is going to be considerably better for music than 2005 was.I essentially bought the album cos the girl is rather cute, but it's a fab album anyway. I was in Glasgow the night they were playing barfly, but ended up not getting to the gig Very good for an NME band anyway. I allowed myself to buy it as I read about them in uncut or something first AGES ago, thus I can say to myself "NME just copied them. honest."Not as good as Khoma or Killing Joke's 2006 albums though
Swingin' Ryan
They've grown on me a bit in the last month or so, they're cover of Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game' is superb.I vastly prefer Be Your Own Pet just now though, who are doing a similar thing but just faster, louder and better. Guest Frieda
I love Giant Drag at the moment. I like BYOP better too, but The Like are just pish, judging by what Iv heard from them so far.

Did you see them supporting the Kills last time they came up? Mighty good.
Tav
I saw the video on TV for "This Isn't It"...downloaded the album on Torrent today. Not normally the style of music I go for but getting more into that..."weird"...pop. Certainly a departure from all the folk I have been listening to of late. Seems like a really good album with some mega catchy tunes.Gretsch + Girl + Fuzz = b'awesom!
