Guest Kryys With No 'X'
Where are you geting this from? Since when?I find it worrying that seminal indie bands reforming appears to be in vogue. The Pixies and now this...What about Hey Mercedes? I mean, they are Braid minus one member! Princess
The Pixies reformed after Kurt Cobains journals were released. So many little Nirvana fans realised their beloved Kurt liked them and went nuts about them. I mean, there even playing with the RHCP in Dublin. Just my opinion of it. Mouse
The Chillis are a good band, but sadly, as in the case of the Darkness, a lot of people just follow them for the sake of it now.
purplefrodo
You can't slag the chilli's (ok you can its a free country, but it would be silly to) they've done more than 90% of the bands out there, so what if they sold out, whgo cares?!?! Look at all the bands/people who were supposedlyu radical but then sold out Johny rotten (preaches about freedom from the state & goes on to appear on reality tv and sings at Brit awards)/Rage Against the machine (First sing to Sony records, ok to sell more albums and spread the message but still goin against everything they believe in & then Zack leaves so the rest of them form Audioslave and sell they're sould to globalisation)/ Rancid/NOFX both take advantage of massive merchandising to take from the pockets of they're fans. BUT ALL OF THAT DOESN'T MATTER...because we still like the music and sometimes the messages that said music brings with it. Also, The Chilli's couldn't sell out a place like Slains Castle if its fans merely followed them 'for the sake of it'! And right now its probably true that the chilli's could attract more fans to a venue than Nirvana ever did/could have done...so yes they are 'Mighty'. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------'due to you already having a girlfriend you are unable to woo said strumpet' - johny depp - classic!
