medichi
The Paperchase. Utterly, utterly AWESOME. Like the bastard sons of the Crocketts, Bright Eyes, Jesus Lizard, McLusky, Fugazi, Icarus Line, Blood Brothers and Jon Spencer, but even better! Goddamn, its ace.....Country-discordo-punkoid-freakout. Oooh.
Michael MacLennan
Goddam right. I've had 'Hide the Kitchen Knives' for a while, and it's frigging ace. They're playing Glasgow in March. Woop!
eat your parents
"Young Bodies Heal Quickly, You Know" is an amazing album, and in my opinion their best. Subsisty is right though, "Hide The Kitchen Knives" is great too.Congleton (the main man) writes and records all of the pAper chAse stuff.Genius.It's marvellously disturbing. Much better than this New Romantic music, or whatever these kids listen to nowadays. What does everyone make of this new "Music Television" then? jimr
Indeed.I saw them last year at the Glasgow school of art, lapsus and cat on form supported. Paper Chase are immense live, I will most likely be going to see them in March aswell, if I have any monies at all.
