Nah it was normally Sturridge up front with Coutinhio, Sterling and Suarez behind him in attacking roles, with Henderson and Hollywood sitting deeper.

I think Barca needed a different option upfront other than just relying on Messi. Teams just put three men on Messi now a days which will leave far more space for Suarez. Its a frightening attacking line up if it works.

Will be a front 3 of Suarez and Neymar wide with Messi through the middle i would have thought. Suarez played a lot of last season starting wide with Sturridge up through the middle so he can do that job.

Taylor at left back kinda seems like Considine at left back, just a bit pointless, but i guess the guy will have to play somewhere. 

I think the winger will be the end of our summer signings tbh. Robertson will get used when fit and Hayes i think will play there more often than not this season. 

Who replaces an electric shower? Plumber or a sparky?

British Gas will do it if you have cover, or Scottish Gas, depends who your with. 

They replaced my shower for me a month or so ago.

Either or. I actually quite like cheese slices, especially on a rowie. 

A soft rowie has to have either butter and jam, or golden syrup on it. A harder one should be served with butter and a cheese slice on it

I have no idea what kind of kids would enjoy that. Most adults dont enjoy power metal, very few if any kids are going to take an interest in that. 

Did RVP even touch the ball in the second half? He has done very little outwith the first game. 

The point though is that he should have got one of his main penalty takers to take the first one.  If Vlaar needed to take one it should have been later - preferably fifth.  Having someone miss the first penalty really set the tone for what followed and put more pressure on the others.  Van Gaal should have got one of Sneijder, Robben, Kuyt or Huntelaar to take the first one and then if Vlaar needed to take one it should have been at the end if necessary.  Holland didn't even need their fifth penalty taker in the previous shoot out.

Aye, but from what he has said, his big pen takers would not step up to take the first one, he chose Vlar because he played well, and indicated he would take the first pen. You cant force players to step up and take one. 

Fantastic ploy by van Gaal to get his worst penalty taker taking the first penalty.  The man's a genius.

Apparently he was the only one who would take the first pen, everyone else bottled it. 

I dont really see whats so ridiculous about what he said. Us on our best day and Brazil on their very worst day and we could certainly give them a game. We gave Spain a good game at Hampden when they were pretty much at their peak. Football is never just black and white in these situations. 

Obviously on a player by player basis we are miles behind, but Brazil without Neymar and Silva are not that scary a team to come up against. 

Is Championship Manager still a thing?

I think you can get an update for the most recent season, but they stopped making Champ Man a year or so ago. It was absolutely terrible compared to FM.

EA have stopped FIFA manager as well, again compared to FM its pish and the guys from EA said as much, basically they could not compete with FM. 

If ever a team relied on two players it was Brazil, without Silva and Neymar they had no idea how to score goals, or keep them out at the back. 

There really isnt much to say after that. Hulk was awful, has been most of the tournament, and side show bob is lost without Thiago Silva beside him. Fred should never play international football again, same goes for Maicon. 

I've just never seen anything like the bad defending that Brazil showed last night.

Possible chance of McGinn leaving for down south. I've heard for a wee while that he hasnt been completely happy at the dons since McInnes came in, and his body language on the pitch is of a guy who is not 100% committed but id still be sad to see him go.
