I got one. lovely thing. really handy- goes from nice slight fuzz to  bonkers. love the frazzled gated broken battery setting. well secksy. NOS will break my bank. Harmonic perculator arrives soon round my house.

I like a lot of the stuff on this thread. But, my problem with bandcamp is it's hard to find stuff that I like- this thread helps a lot- but, any blogs that sift through the shit? already checked oot the blog joda mentioned: bookmarked.

I think it's a "Rockson"- it's a wait for it- metal rocker. Just a cheap boss clone. 

I  get an awful lot of re-posts from the Guardian website, with minimal personal comments. it's depressing. Facebook is great though, people are funny and stupid people who think they are interesting are the funniest. I may not make sense. I just hate libtards and side pickin' early on fucktards.

I meant fail as in fail to become (blech) culturally significant. Nae in a grand way- just folk generally know a bands tunes. 

Like the View, or Twilight Sad etc. 

Seen a fair few bands from Aberdeen over the years that I really thought were at least as good as Idlewild or whatnot. They just seem to gather a bit of momentum then fizzle out. 

I know Aberdeen is small and a bit remote but it seems a wee bit strange the only folk my mums heard of from Aberdeen are the shamen (love them stillsuits) Annie Lennox and that woman with the sculpted hair do. I forget her name. Sande?

"fail" is maybe the wrong word. It's nae like I know anything. Somebody actually paid for a Sidca download and I got ALL emotional. 

I blame the "Aberdeen Sound" which the world can't handle. But, I might be wrong.

I'm hoping so, I've a netgear at the moment- and it never gives me bother. Just fired up the BT hub and it's dropping out all the time- gives me flashbacks to the pre-netgear rage days!- I need to get a new one anyway- something to do with ADSL and VDWmegawanDSL. I can just tell me and the BT hub are not going to get on, even though it has cute wee feet like one of the robots from silent running. 

How does bt infinity work. I don't want to use a home hub. I'm assuming they put a new plate on the phone socket and an ethernet cable goes from that to me router? 

It's vexing me. I don't want to rearrange my desk. I despise change.

I just couldnae get my head round how he never realised folk were taking the piss, and assumed he had issues. Picking on folk with issues isnae that funny. what can I say- I mebbe have a different sense of humour. !! likewise the shutterspeed thread...

It wasn't about getting the last word, while there were some good points being made in the thread, almost the entire first page had become "you're a dick, no you're a dick", which is absolutely not what the forums are for. I answered EC's question about why his original post was deleted, and then I had the option of either closing the thread, or deleting all flamey posts and letting the discussion continue. Whichever I chose, somebody would have had a go about it. I might have been a little bit trigger happy granted, but I have to moderate it as I see fit and I stand by the decision to close the thread, on the grounds that the question was answered, and it was escalating into an argument.

I used to love starting a fight on here, nae so much now- can't be arsed. I think it's an age thing. like most of the regular posters on here this site have become old. nuff said. 

I only come here to update the sidca thread and look at gear for sale. that's about it. the chat is whack. If I wanted whack chat I'd turn off CSI and ask my wife about whether the Foo Fighters were betterer than the Jesus Lizard.
