900 people applied for jobs at Tesco Woodend, even if you have a shit job you are lucky to have it.
I guarantee at least half of them were already employed/were taking the Tesco job as a second job. The unemployment rate in Aberdeen is incredibly low compared to a lot of the country.
-
I'd love to avoid First if another company ran their routes. But none go from my house to my work in the same way the bus I take does.
Also, I see there's something going in besides Papa Johns! What is this? (Looks like a hair salon or something)

Thanks to everyone who put up with my interviewing and slightly-drunkness. Top lads.

The girl in the advert who is struggling to eat her sushi with chopsticks and then resorts to stabbing the piece, smugly proclaiming "wowcher" as she eats it - death be to her.
I've been off sick all day and have seen that advert about 11 times.
Worst part is the advert doesn't make any fucking sense.

Does anyone have any experience using an aggregator to get their music on Spotify? I was thinking about going with Zimbalam to get the Pigdog album on Spotify and iTunes. Anyone have any experience with them, or know of a better one?
Emubands, since they do a one-off fee rather than a yearly one. I am with Tunecore but I'm not renewing since I haven't even made up the $40 or whatever it was to get the bastard onto iTunes.

Definitely too high.

I think the limit is $1000 or similar? Was looking into going to San Fran to visit friends in the winter and potentially take advantage of American low prices.
-
Ah well. Most (good) things are American-based anyway, so.
-
Unfortunately they do. And it's not shown on the price tag either. DC is 6% on top of most things. Some states are as much as 10% on top.
10% < 20%

Black Friday works better in America 'cos they don't have stupid taxes on fucking everything.

Celtic have conceded. At home. To Caley.
Barca seems so long ago...
-
Was the first one good? I didn't get my Xbox till about 2010, so missed out on some release games.
I wasn't a fan. "Different" is correct, but it wasn't "good" which is sort of crucial.

I love Podolski so fucking much.

Only if they have a licence, which a lot of people don't, and much like going out, would I fuck carry my passport to the shops just in case.
Get a provisional at least. Or a Citizencard.
How could the police prove it? How could they set that up?Unless of course the law states that they're not allowed to sell alcohol to someone unless every single person they talk to that isn't a store employee produces ID. If it does, then I'll shut the fuck up.
Better safe than sorry.
-
Just to point out, I totally understand them not serving me when I don't have ID despite being 27. However, not selling someone else in the queue their booze when they have ID simply because I spoke to them? Bull-shit.
Pretty easy to deduce that you might be buying the alcohol for a party or something in that case so it doesn't seem ridiculous that she came to the "you might be together" conclusion.
And when the penalty for getting it wrong is £5000...
-
I would imagine the majority of adults have their license in their wallet anyway?

Roman's surely got a replacement on the cards. It seems utterly daft to sack RDM and not have a fallback.
But yeah, sort of considering maybe I shouldn't be a Chelsea fan. Feeling so dirty.

A friend of mine was shopping in Asda and got id'd. He's nearly 30, so this bugged him, but he obliged. His gf (same age) then got id'd. She'd left hers at home. D'oh! But their 2 year old son was with them. He then told the cashier to either sell him the booze or ID his son, the cashier did neither so he left his weekly asda shop at the till and walked out in a huff. lol.
Customers that walk out in a huff are the worst. Then the staff have to restock all the fucking shelves. Cuntwads.

Are you actually finding stuff to buy with the gold? I ended up with about 450k with nothing I needed from a shop apart from spell books.
That always happens in these kinds of games. With Skyrim as you level up you find better stuff in chests and things so eventually you have heaps of money with literally nothing to spend it on. Frustrating.
-
Holy fuck. What a cunt.
-
Yeah, Teabags' story isn't uncommon and imo the service girl did right to the letter of the law. Blame the law, not the messenger.
-
While I agree that Tesco did the right thing here, what I don't understand is how they knew the girl wasn't old enough to buy them? Unless she was wearin a big birthday badge saying "11 today!"
And another thing... what kind of proof of age do 12 year olds usually carry around?
Usually most places will take Accord Cards. Kids get those at school. I believe we at the cinema accept those if we have to prove age for 15s etc.
-
Hobbycraft charges £4 for some sizes of card. CARD!
