Match of the Day 2 was bumped to 1.05am on BBC1 Scotland this week because of the Ryder Cup highlights. If you were down south you'd have got to see it at 10.25. For some reason they insist on showing Sportscene first up here. Weird.
Hey, we Scots do love our golf...

I would usually post this in the cool thinker thread but I think this is so unbelievable that it belongs in a thread of it's own, don't worry mods this is not the start of loads of threads.
Just shows you what is happening in Aberdeen behind the scenes.
It's in the Record, so it must be true.
Also there are still gangs in Aberdeen almost certainly, you don't need to read Weegie shite to work that out.

Who do you think you are, questioning me. Do you know who I am ?
(ignore the grammatical mistakes in this image I have clearly pinched off the interwebs)
-
That was a serious dick move and I think FOX is now fully in the right if he were to punch you square in the face.
Those of you who have met me (at the football etc) will know I couldnae punch a dug in the face.
-
Also I was drunk when I typed that.
Apology accepted.

Bollocks. Fuck off. Fuck this. Bale is a cunt. Carrick is toss. Ando and Cleverly had a great game on Wednesday. Why bench them for walking football? FUUUUUU.
Sorry in advance.

Well played.

Observations from today.
1 - The Pound Shop on Union Street is now open selling junk for £1, you can tell that it is local.
2 - Beside it there is a new shop opened called Bargain Books selling books for cheap
3 - Clinton Cards upstairs in Bon Accord is now open after being revamped it is now called Clintons and is very american.
Both the Pound Shop and Bargain Books were heaving with folk at about 2.30 this afternoon. Unreal. The Pound Shop literally looks like one of those tourist-focused shops that sell poorly-made shite in holiday resorts.
Not sure how a card shop could be anything other than American though.
-
I know it's your gran and I'm sorry she got hurt but does she really need or deserve money from this? Accidents happen. National Accident Helpline, Claims Direct and all this American suing shite can fuck right off.
Well, no, but at the very least I'd like them to deal with the shitty pavements... I don't think she gives a shit about the money, it's more than she's now fucked up her hip again and can't really stand for too long now.
-
She could still get compensation regardless of whether she works or not. But you'd have to prove that the Council were negligent in allowing the pavement to be dangerous. Which means either proving that they had previously been told it was dangerous, or that they could reasonably be considered to have known it was dangerous, but failed to do anything about it. If it's a tree lifting the stones then it could be argued that this hasn't happened overnight so they should have been aware of it. Might be worth a try. Take photos showing what they should have been aware of, then write to them in the strongest terms, and demand some compensation. It'll probably get a polite 'fuck off' back, but they might just offer something to make you go away. If not you could then try taking it further with legal help.
Thanks for the help. We'll look into it further.

Arg, cousin's having birthday drinks All the best with this like. #punx

That was an entertaining game, but by the end the referees were taking the piss a bit.
-
Maybe, but I'm not interested. I don't do buses.

She'd probably just stash any compensation money in a biscuit tin or something anyway.
-
Can you claim money from the council if you trip and hurt yourself on their pavements?
My grandmother's fair smacked her head off the pavement thanks to a fuck-off massive tree lifting all the stones up. Anything we can do about it?
I'm thinking the answer is "no" since she's not missing out on work money etc.

Something I learned:He gets retrained by default in FM2012. I think its because McLeish was rumoured to be trying him in the position.
Ah.
For those wondering what my image was, it was Emile Heskey's position being "Striker / D©" on FM.

Something I learned:
-
Yeah we've played a couple of them before!
A nightmare if you actually want paid!
Also a major excuse to get the bands to do all the promotion!
-
We're FAMOUS! http://d.pr/i/duiy
-
Aye that's what I meant - just seems like for some gigs, all the onus is on the bands to do the promotion where the bookers/promoters sit and do very little.
Aye. Especially those "tally" gigs discussed above. Bastards.

L.A. Noire
Don't worry, you'll be finished that in a day or two. Not a lot to it.
