  1. How much hassle would it be to convert one of these http://www.backalleymusic.co.uk/contents/media/72%20tele.jpg to one of these https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=tele+72&client=firefox-a&hs=WqY&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=INjJUZOTFtGl0wWtrYGQDg&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=620#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=ajw_6E3Lyk7TUM%3A%3BadYSp2z5w1nV0M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fstatic.musiciansfriend.com%252Fderivates%252F19%252F001%252F276%252F408%252FDV020_Jpg_Jumbo_511141.001_black.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.musiciansfriend.com%252Fguitars%252Ffender-classic-series-72-telecaster-deluxe-electric-guitar%3B1450%3B1450 I'd also rather keep the ashtray bridge if possible. Is it 'just' a case of getting a new widerange, new pick guard and bridge/cut old bridge, 500k pot and possibly a router? Once again, why can't I link to my photobucket any more? Cheers.
  2. Looking to swap my Dyna comp for a micro amp if anyone has one.
  3. One of them is red. That can't be yours, surely
  4. What did you edit on that last post?
  5. JCM900 dual reverb 100/50 watt 2x12 combo. Bit of a long shot but kinda want a Fender.
  6. http://www.strat-talk.com/forum/effect-effect/89569-better-way-powering-big-muff-pi.html Are all people on internet forums total bellends or wot?
  7. Can anyone else shed some light this way? Really trying to not prolapse my muff.
  8. Well, the 1 spot power supply uses regular - tip barrels and this attachment, made by 1 spot, makes it compatible with older pedals that require a 3.5mm + tip so I'm guessing so. I see your point about polarised caps though.
  9. Aha! Those 3.5mm converters reverse the polarity also. Smashing!
  10. Can I just reverse to polarity on the output of the beavis? Giving my muff a super inverted fucking seems like an awful hassle. Surely you just swap over the ring/tip connections. What's the point in the 555 timer exactly?
  11. I'd also need to reverse the polarity at some stage as the muff has a negative ring...
  12. I read that earlier actually. Seems pretty straight forward. Presumably, If I build one of those beavis things, I could just use my existing Moen 9v supply line but use a 3.5mm output on the beavis to feed the muff....
  13. Any electronically minded folks fancy taking on a project for me? Firstly I want to swap out the 9v supply for standard boss type socket. Could probably do this myself... Secondly I'd like to build in a drained battery simulator pot or possibly a separate adapter for this purpose. I'm sure this is also easy enough to do but don't want to fuck my muff. Offers or advice both welcome. Cheers
  14. Nothing by the sounds of things.
  15. Anyone got one for sale? Cheers
  16. It's a Pacifica, and I'm assuming one of the ones where the bridge humbucker is not mounted to the scratch plate.
  17. Sorry, thought it was a Strat, not a Pacifica. If you can't get an SSS scratch plate for a Pacifica, try one of these http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/allparts-humbucker-to-single-coil-pickup-conversion-ring
  18. Why does the humbucker cavity need to be filled in before you can use a single coil?
