MUMDANCE Mumdance is an umbrella term used to describe the various activities of the enigmatic Jack Adams. After spending two years working for Vice Magazine putting on all their events, Jack decided to fly the nest and do his own thing: DJing, making music and putting on parties. Barely three months into making music, Mumdance caught the attention of Diplo by bootlegging his remix of the Black Lips' "Veni Vidi Vicii" and giving it an unusual baile - grime glaze by adding beats, bleeps and bars by East London grime MC Jammer. This unofficial bootleg received national radio play from Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 and Sinden on Kiss FM, as well as being a huge hit on the club and blog circuit. Mumdance DJ sets comprise of many different genres of bass driven music re-contextualised and played in quick succession. He is known for live edits, loops and effects, as well as spanning almost every electronic genre in a set.
