  1. Yeah - 3 out of 8 ain't the best record for the Brits. (laughed when I found out about McSweeny getting TKOd - he's a bell-end) Still think there's more to come from Hardy though. Pretty surprised with how dominated Hathaway got by Pyle to be honest - but Pyle's strength has always been his grappling and his striking's only just starting to get there.

Every single time Bisping got tagged, I was sure that was going to be the beginning of the end for him. Happy it wasn't tho :)

Just wating for Brock to smash Cain next week now... and for Court McGee to make his proper debut

  2. Loved Visionaries, D&D and Centurions above all else personally.

My mum is officially ace, just for being genuinely thrilled when I gave her Thundercats and Dungeons and Dragons DVDs as Christmas presents across two years when I just so happened to not be of completely sound mind when doing my Christmas shopping.

  3. As a huge fan of Tony Jaa's work, I was incredibly excited to find Ong Bak 3 in Asda. The excitement faded pretty fast when I realised how incredibly bad the film is. Couple half-decent fight scenes and the sudden use of wires in Mr Jaa's films is NOT what I was expecting. Horrendous film - if you liked any of his other films, DON'T watch it - it'll make you want to launch an armed assault on his monastary.

  4. I never did get round to watching them. I lent them to Lucius about a year ago, and as far as I know he hasn't watched them yet either. I'd also like to add Donnie Brasco to the list of ace mafia films.

Donnie Brasco is indeed a good one, but Godfather 1&2 are legendarilly immense

  5. Rashad Evans.

I so hope that's not related to the result of Sat's fight (and I know I'm guilty of doing it before) About half an hour left downloading it so I can watch - not read any papers/been online much to avoid it.

Pet hate: possibly quoted - not having internet yet at new flat. Also, moving stresses me the fuck out!

  6. I'll be awaiting some sort of semi-review from yourself to see whether i want it or not...

Busy tonight so only had a chance to play it a little, make a character, start career, start an online camp, etc. Fights are much improved from last year's game tho and career mode is ENORMOUS! If you liked 2009, GET IT! Seriously impressed.

Cause I got it on pre-order I got an Ultimate Fight Night best of DVD free and the PS3 version has five exclusive blu-ray quality full fights on the game disc plus PS exclusive fighters. Think 360 has some exclusive stuff too, but think it might just be fighters.

    Mini-review complete!

  7. Well, against my better judgement, I did. Bloody hell, she didn't half wallop her, can't believe that was filmed. Also, what's with what those girls were wearing?! Particularly that pole dancer that was advertising the fact that people could pay 10 for a shotty. Wasn't she a bit portly to be parading around outside in her underwear? And Kimberly's dance competition, that was more eventful than Little Miss Sunshine. Some thoroughly graceful shapes being cut there.

Anyway. I felt so disgusted with myself after watching it that I watched several episodes of Springwatch directly afterwards.

It was fucking awesome! Also, as a former titty-bar barman, I can assure you that some of the more successful strippers are, in fact, muntingly hideous.

Today's Ace-ic is my UFC Undisputed 2010 being delivered a day early.

  8. On a 12 hour flight up and over Iceland to the Dominican Republic.....

The Invention of Lying - pretty good light hearted entertainment 6.5/10

Love what his biggest lie is -

    That God exists

Don't bother watching Valhalla Rising. It's quite shit.

  9. Or had a genius moment and let him listen to proper heavy bands instead of shite like Spineshank.

Like I can be arsed raking through a box of CDs which contains shite like the dance compilations I was given as Christmas presents, only to find the few good albums I have on CD, as opposed to my hard drive? Fuck it - he's getting more Pantera... and some Slayer.

  10. So your Dad has the same CD collection now as the mid-teen skateboarders ontop of the St Nicks Centre?

That's just the ones he's picked up out of the box of old CDs in the garage that I haven't had a nostalgic moment and reclaimed. I have some truly awful albums from years ago  On the plus side, he's got a fucklad of old vinyls and a turntable-MP3 converter thingy, so can bump some old Hendrix off him.

    Dirty Den indeed.

Don't forgot Phil Michell's dogging incidents - many older couples would stay at home, unaware, intead of ruining it for all the incestual couples out there if it wasn't for him!
