Bump! Friday night.....

This morning a decision was reached by The Colour Proposal to bring the band to an end......however, we will be fulfilling our commitment to perform next Friday night at The Tunnels in what will be our farewell gig. Support is from Absynth and a solo spot by Kashmir Red's Steven Winton. Doors expected to be around 7.30pm. Will update once we have stage times and confirmed door tax. Thanks to everyone who has supported the band over the years - it is much appreciated.

Won't be ready until April/May time but I have a spare room in a 2-bed apartment located just outside (but with easy access to) the City Centre. Would come with its own private bathroom and a 50/50 share of the rest of the apartment. 2 options would be:- Rental for the room with bills to be divided by 2 on top of that; or Flat monthly "bill" which covered rent, bills, etc. Anyone interested (and for more info), please PM. Wow - I think I've got a new favourite band in Aberdeen. Deportees were absolutely stunning last night. The two bands that they are made from were two of my all-time favourties from Aberdeen but Deportees are even better then I imagined they could be. Was really gutted I missed gig 1 but last night more than made up for it..... 14th March - I'm there!

Christy an acquaintance of yours was just in touch with me - email sent to him, sure you'll see it soon enough. I've no idea how true it is - the timings of it though are very strange coupled with the wording used by AFC today.

Looking forward to this one so much - coupled with our own gig at Snafu on Thursday this is going to be an ace week!

Hi all, Well, the last couple of months have been, shall we say, eventful, for us (The Colour Proposal). First, our ex-drummer decided to quit 3 days prior to our support slot with Our Lunar Activities back in August. Then, with our new drummer on board and gigs set up for October, our lead guitarist was knocked off his bike and suffered a fractured elbow - this time a week before those scheduled gigs in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Anyways, everyone is now fighting fit and ready to go so we are now pleased to announce our "comeback" gig which will be at The Tunnels, Aberdeen on Saturday 28th November 2009. Also on the bill are The Usuals (The Usuals on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads) and The Audiokicks (The Audiokicks on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads) so it should be a cracking night! Doors open at 7.30pm and door tax is 4 quid! Should have some posters ready for next week so will update then. Hope to see as many of you there as can make it.
