I'm disappointed... I seem to be the only one in Aberdeen who has not seen any snow these past two days!

Just do a search for recruitment agencies in Aberdeen on Google, and then go round them all with your CV and register with them. Never contact recruitment agencies by e-mail as most of them just ignore you, instead phone them every week and ask them if they currently have any jobs.

Last year, I kept getting phone calls from a company called XL Communications offering me a better mobile phone service. No matter how many times I told them that I did'nt want to hear from them again, they kept phoning me. It got to the point that when they phoned the final time, I actually shouted at the poor guy at the other end. I never heard from them again.

I would love to see the guy's CV or application for his next job now. It would be funny reading his reason for leaving his previous job: injured myself so I could have the day off!

When I first saw that picture, I actually thought she/he was a man. However, after all the fuss, it'll probably turn out that he/she is a woman after all. You have to feel sorry for him/her though... imagine years from now, what will she/he tell his/her grandchildren? "Well, kids, I was an athlete back in the day. Common sense and Aberdeen City Council are two things you rarely hear in the same sentance. My family live in a council flat. In a few years, Aberdeen City Council plan on demolishing all the buildings in my area (including the one I live in). However, earlier in the year, the council decided to put new bathrooms and kitchens in all the flats! ?(

Watched the Matrix Reloaded last night since it was on TV. First time I'd ever seen it (I watched the first Matrix film on Monday last week). The second film is good, but not as good as the first one, and it got slightly confusing towards the end. I'm hoping they show the third film next week.
