But you can't ring your mates with a lump of coal.

This happened to me when I had a marshall tube amp a few years back; it ended up being a problem with the jack input on the amp. It definitely sounds more like an electrical fault than a problem with the valves, probably a broken circuit or something.
Just to restate what has been said above, tube problems are normally a loss of volume rather than it cutting out completely. Either way, I recommend you get it serviced by Dennis Marshall in Dunfermline if it is practical for you to get your amp there, and I know many people on this forum would back me up in saying that.

It could be quite easy IF it's just the led. If it's a new pedal, couldn't you return it?
Sorry it's new to me; got it 2nd hand. Somebody has offered to help me out now and yeah it seems simple enough.

30. Happy with that. Didn't get Cavani...

Hello,
I have a new boss pedal that has a problem with the LED light but works fine otherwise, has anybody got any experience in fixing this problem? I've googled the issue and based on what I've read it's an extremely simple/cheap fix if you know what you're doing with a soldering iron; unfortunately I've never soldered anything in my life so I'm not willing to commit to doing it myself unless shown how.
Can anybody offer advice or help me out? It's a boss CE5 chorus if that makes any difference although I imagine this is fixed in the way across all boss stompboxes.
Thanks,
Daryl

Don't be silly. it is a grey area. it's constantly changing though. depending on legislation. my point is that the more you are in the public eye the more you are going to encounter the dark side of human nature- most bands and solo- artists suck it up. unless you are an attention grabbing lefty fuck-tard. i apologise, I find this whole thing difficult. But i think most of you guys are wrong.
It isn't a grey area, the internet has replaced the majority of ways in which we communicate; I'd go as far as to say that it has become the main form of communication between people. Just like if you were to write an abusive letter, you are held accountable for what you do.
I agree that if in the public eye bands/artists are far more likely to be subject to abuse; however this doesn't belittle anything being sent online whether it be in this case or any case of abusive messages being sent. You can't pan it off because 'it's only the internet'; if I messaged you on here giving you a heap of shit for no reason you'd take it as insulting, and you'd be quite right to. It's definitely not a grey area, and while it is fairly obvious that it's difficult problem to police effectively she has done the right thing in attempt to raise awareness of the issue. She seems fairly thick skinned to me by coming out and talking about it.

Atmosphere?
I'll give them a phone, last time I used them (couple of years ago) I got given a couple of pishy lazers and a big karaoke light board that weren't really fit for purpose. I probably didn't ask for the right thing though...
Thanks!

Best place in Aberdeen for lighting hire? Not necessarily in terms of price more quality of service and product.
Need some decent stage lights for a 100 capacity event; there's no stage so trying to make the place look a bit more like a real actual proper live music venue.

I really want to post banal pictures of bottles of bottom shelf booze to clutter up these fucktards' newsfeeds, partly to undermine their so-called achievement and partly to satirise how fucking tedious they are for 11 months of the year.
Cunts.
xx
Yeah because raising money for Macmillan makes somebody a cunt.
EDIT: Just read your second post about doing stuff for charity, and I'm not undermining anything you may or may not have done but I'm doing it. Not saying it's a big achievement or anything, just saw it as a good incentive to save some money and do something worthwhile for a good cause. I'll also add that I don't post every 2 minutes saying how difficult my life is without a pitcher of woo woo.

I unfriended somebody last night for a searingly witty attack on a couple of "Spanish" guys who were hogging machines at his local gym; about 25 people liked it which I found rather disgusting. I'm not repeating it here, but I went to school in Kemnay so have a feed full gold that I will no doubt re-post here.
Excellent thread.

Now sold,

Probably a long shot, but just seeing what's out there. I generally prefer trying on here before going to gumtree/ebay/an online store or whatever purely for the convenience.
Contact via PM if you have anything suitable!
Thanks.

I actually thought it was one of the weaker episodes. Gray Matter being Walt's motivation to come back? Fuck that. They haven't been heard of since like season 1. Bad writing. There's been some great stuff this season but there's been some really poor stuff too.
Really? I think their involvement is key as its is designed to spark Walt into going back and finishing things off for his own good, having realised that who he was (the old, family loving Walt) is indeed dead after having lost the respect of Walt Jnr (little cunt) and now Heisenberg is who he is. They made on that he was insignificant, both in terms of founding Grey Matter as Walter White and his drug empire as Heisenberg; which over the five seasons he has treated as work and is (certain incidents aside) evidently proud of what he built up.
So he's going back with nothing to lose, kill those Nazi fucks, perhaps save Jesse and who gives a shit what happens to Lydia? Nae me.
