Moshulu's promotion has been absolutely fucking atrocious ever since Jamesy left.

Surely it is the job of the bands promoters to advertise the gig, not the venue holding it?

Presumeably the bands record label or booking agent have hired the venue, so Moshulu have already covered there costs and will make there profit off the bar. I don't think Moshulu can be held totally responsible for lack of advertising, thats why there are promoters.

And i may stand corrected, but Jamesy didn't work for Moshulu did he? Didn't he work for a promoter who put bands into Moshulu?

I have a pair of Peavey Black Widowed 15's speakers for sale. I need to get rid as soon as possible as i no longer have room for storage. Will let them go for 150. They are in immaculate condition and perfect working order. Will include 2 long Speakon to Speakon speaker leads which alone cost me 70.

How much for van

Not that i'm particularly looking for a van myself at the moment, but as as being in a couple of bands who travel a fair bit, occuring costs in van hire and general travelling costs, what would the van in question cost if still for sale, and how much did it sell for if gone?

What I really want to know is, how much am would i have to fork out to buy a van thats gonna get me around the country, safely i may add?

Yeh got hold of 2 actually a Gibralter one through a good friend, haven't collected it yet though. Also got hold of a battered Pearl Powershifter, it's old and well used but gonna keep it as a spare. There are plenty out there it seems.

If you ened up buying new go for The Iron Cobra, I use the single and double pedals when gigging (depending on the gig) and absolutely love them, can't rate them highly enough.

Myself and an amazing guitar playing buddy are forming a hopefully to be unique heavy rock/metal band. We have a line up minus a vocalist and are in the process of writing.

I have heard a few rumours that Drummonds is closing it's doors to live music, anyone heard anything similar?

Apparently Eric is closing shop as he has taken over the old Esko bar and is turning it into a touring DJ venue. Loosing Drummonds would be a massive, MASSIVE loss to the Aberdeen music scene, I really hope the rumours ain't true!

I am looking for a cheap double bass pedal as a spare to have at home for my electronic kit, it's to save me lugging about my main one all the time which I keep in band storage. If anyone has one for sale give us a heads up.

I am in the process and have been for some while, of attepmting to sell a DW edge 14 x 6 snare drum. This baby is awesome and cost me almost 500 bucks a while back. If anyone is interseted in making me a sensible offer please by all means do so.

I have in my collection a vintage premier kit, dating between 1938 and 1945 i believe. I have been informed it is possibly one of the last batches of drums that came out of the Park Royal factory which was destroyed during a battle of britain raid in 1940, but i don't know how accurate that is.

I have the 3 drums, 2 toms and bass drum, unfortunately the snare never has been found. I have the original Premier 282 bass pedal, floor tom cradle, flush based snare stand and hi hat stand.

Basically was just wondering if anyone was an expert in this area and could maybe check it out and give me a better idea of exact times, model of the drums etc?
