  1. According to Al Murray it'll have a bike in the window.
  2. Unlike Malones which is opening where the Ship Inn used to be. It has pictures of Leprechauns on the windows!
  3. Florida isn't 8 hours behind though.
  4. You reckon he could finish a gig in Aberdeen, fly to London, get a plane to Miami, go through immigration etc etc and then get taken the 50 or so miles to Pampona Beach in time to do an outdoor show? I think I'll have some of what you are on. I really can't see this going ahead and have to agree with what Alan Cynic has said. If it transpires the guy who runs Fitzpatricks has lied for cheap publicity then a lot of people, well those that even know where it is, will boycott it and it will go down the pan.
  5. I was in on Mad Friday. There was my brother, me and 3 bar staff. One of whom offered to buy my tracksuit top off me. o_O
  6. Got a text off my mate earlier tonight saying Shane and The Dubliners are playing at Fitzpatricks on Saturday night. Not heard it anywhere else. Can anyone confirm if it is happening?
  7. That is Ingliston you are thinking of there mate. As an 18/19 year old I loved Oasis, I was at Loch Lomond on the Sunday and remember what a cracking day it was. Seen them a couple times after that at the AECC, walked out the 2nd time, I think it was in 2002 and Proud Mary supported, as they were terrible. These days they are a copy of what they were 15 years ago but just in 'middle age man mode', Liam and Noel giving it the big man routine and Noel saying that every new album is the best they have released, Liam having a pop at whoever the NME darlings of the moment are etc etc. It is actually quite sad.
  8. Has the Paddock not closed down now? I've not been up in ages but was told that just before New Year. I've seen a few covers bands play the the Leathen in Portlethen.
  9. I think this is the poorest of the 3 Franz Ferdinand albums. They are doing an 'Oasis', producing their best material first and then going downhill quickly.
  10. Trips

    Biffy Clyro

    Fecking touting scum.
  11. A pity that Kid Carpet isn't supporting like he did on some gigs down south but it should still be a good night.
  12. Cool, not seen James McColl since The Supernaturals days so it will be good to hear live what he is up to these days.
  13. Is there any point to it as it either doesn't work or the sound engineer doesn't have a scooby what he is doing. Was in there last last night and you could barely hear the vocals of any of the 3 bands that were playing.
  14. Woohoo, just ordered my tickets. Going to be a great night.
  15. That was an excellent gig. I am a bit unsure about some of the faces Jasper was pulling, it looked like his jeans were a bit tight.8o
  16. Hear mate. You sound like a shit Kaiser Chiefs. :king: Seriously though, was the first time I had seen you guys on Friday and I thought you were pretty good. Was the vocal style supposed to be that way though? It seemed like the singer was pretty wasted and was just shouting into the microphone instead of singing.
