Just had an excellent takeaway from the Mastrick Tandoori. Despite the naysayers on here the missus and I were both left stuffed - the rogan josh a particular treat. Bravo to the chefs.

The point of it is a Jazzmaster body is cooler than a strat body.

A Jim Root Jazzmaster, featuring the same pickups, neck profile, paint job and black hardware that his signature Strat and tele have. What is the point? I think Fender have been awesome in recent years, loads of cool models. And the Squires in particular are amazing value.As for the Jim Root, don't like it, don't buy it?

I don't understand how you can play it without the spring. The strings wouldn't be at tension and just fapping around.

So this guitar that has been deemed perfectly fine by Jamie didn't have strings on it and you haven't played it?

If you are saying you don't have a spring does that mean you haven't tried it yet? Fair doos, it's just a shame to see a perfectly good guitar fucked up when it could be avoided. I still shudder when I think of what happened to that Squier strat I sold you.
