  1. Hey all, a pot has fallen off from one of the pickup controls on my GSR200, anyone know of anywhere that sells spares? In fact, of anywhere that sells any kind of decent replacement? Cheers!
  2. I remember seeing Toy years back and loving them, but not being so impressed recently. I'd vote Katerwaul.
  3. SotL were pretty damn good at ATP, the live strings really, REALLY add a whole new dimension to the proceedings. Ticket in hand, roll on tonight!
  4. Envy are playing?! GET IN!! Fucking superb lineup!!
  5. Definitely, both are cracking bands.
  6. These Monsters live show is pretty good, they'd sound DEVASTATING in the Tunnels. I wonder.
  7. True. Aberdeen's never had it so good for touring bands. Take a look at the old (and current!) threads in 'Gig & Event Announcements' and dare try to say Aberdeen never has a diverse selection of bands playing.
  8. Thought the exact same thing. Besides, a post-show trip to Nice 'n' Sleazys can't be missed. And what's this about a pie stall at the venue?!
  9. Quite enjoyed it, thought some of it went on a bit though. Asahara almost put me through the roof with his no-nonsense distortion blast opening. Some good sounds being made but mostly I enjoyed the variation in his set, which lacked in some of the others. Wasn't as much arm flailing and anti-dancing as last time though, boo. Sumi Sumi was excellent, I enjoyed the beats being splayed everywhere then snapped together in the space of a second. The vocals were stunning, and the lady's robotic shuffling around the venue was a little unnerving. KMVSNI weren't as good as I've seen them before, I remember being blown away by their ferocity last time. The third guy's contributions did add some nice thicker textures though. Whitehouse were devastating. Found myself struggling to take the onstage antics seriously but the sheer noise they put out was unparalleled.
  10. This was a TOP night, really impressed by all 3 acts. Not a hint of a lie in Meursault being described as one of the best unsigned bands in the UK. What a VOICE!
  11. Aww fit, no all day party for you!!
  12. I chanced upon that on Last.fm a few days ago, straight to the Box Office Lineup is brilliant! He'min, you going to Tramway or Ironworks?
  13. Question - is Human Bell the same band as The Human Bell? lepeep posted about the latter a wee while ago and they were pretty good...
  14. Thoroughly enjoyed last night! Asahara was something else to behold, amazing effort on both the audio and visual front. Terror. Ulterior completely took me by surprise, I quite liked their material online but in the live setting it comes into its own - they were loud, abrasive and utterly dirty sounding. The thumping beats drove the music home. Top lads too. Cheers to Hen and the Tunnels crew for putting us on and getting us pished, good times!
  15. No idea who's pulled out (not heard anything about lineup changes?) but it'd be a shame if someone has. The bill was looking like a pretty good mix of sounds. Also, for those who care, we've got a new tune to debut at this.
  16. I'd like to hear it live/ recorded properly, some of it's a bit murky - but all in all it sounds pretty interesting, keep it up.
  17. I had no idea Dub Trio were in town. Gutted!
  18. Reckon so. Pelican weren't amazing at Oran Mor last year, but it'd still be worth going to see.
  19. Just noticed, the tickets have 8:00 for door times? Not that I'll miss standing about for half an hour with a pint getting warm in my hand like.
