Decisions decisions so much happening at the same time, and seemingly at the same place
Session A9 are absolutely fucking great. Love them.

Great time had last night. Very good show. Very well done to the gents at imp for organising such a great evening.
-
I don't care about the Deportees, (aren't they french?)
Yes, yes we are.
-
Aye, i'll be watching. Seen a couple live shows. Also, got to be part of the audience whose laughter was recorded for the pilot. Thankfully, there was much laughter.

I only have a top 2 for albums this year seeing as new Divine Comedy was mediocre and Ben Folds/Nick Hornby was pure pish.
Field Music - (Measure)
Everything Everything - Everythin Everything
Both albums are brilliant, and seeing Field Music at Sneaky Petes, and the fact they were unbelievable, made it even better.

Just so everybody knows, my manager sold the baby grand piano *cry*. Very sad, although it does free up stage space. We've got an electric piano now.
I'm now entirely gutted. But hey ho. I'll live. Just out of random curiosity, what kind of electric piano you got now, in place of the lovely digital baby grand....sob sob sob.

MUSA had me at Baby Grand Piano.

Reverend Lovejoy: I know one of you is responsible for this, so repeat after me: If I withhold the truth may I go straight to Hell, where I will eat naught but burning hot coals and drink naught but burning hot cola...
Ralph Wiggum: Where fiery demons will punch me in the back...
Bart: Where my soul will be chopped into confetti and strewn upon a parade of murderers and single mothers...
Milhouse: Where my tongue will be torn out by ravenous birds...Bart did it! That Bart, right there!
Bart: Milhouse!
Reverend Lovejoy: Milhouse, you did the right thing. Bart, come with me for punishment. You too, snitchy.
Homer: So, Burns is gonna make us all go on a stupid corporate retreat up in the mountains to learn about teamwork. Which means we'll have to cancel our plans to hang around here.
Bart: Teamwork is overrated.
Homer: Huh?
Bart: Think about it. I mean, what team was Babe Ruth on? Who knows.
Lisa and Marge: Yankees.
Bart: Sharing is a bunch of bull, too. And helping others. And what's all this crap I've been hearing about tolerance?
Homer: Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter. But I think we have to go to the retreat anyway.

I had no idea that he was popular enough to command such a high ticket price!
When I first saw him in 2005 it was 'only' 17 quid. Fuck knows how expensive hes going to be next time he returns after this.
-
I'm quite peckish for a cheese and ham roll now.
-
He's just not all that good anymore.
The records arent so good anymore, but hes still fantastic live. Got my tickets this afternoon. Cannae wait.
-
Yeah, same place. Saw him last same place 2007, the royal concert hall before that 2005. Close to 3 hour set. Brilliant.
-
And a Friday as well. Lovely stuff. 3 and a half years is too long.

I am invisible to this man.
I was with a couple of bonnie quines. But lets be honest, they could have been as hacket as Widdecombe and you would still have been the last person I noticed.

From what I've heard "Age of Adz" is either one of the best albums of the year or one of the worst albums of all time. I haven't listened to it myself yet though. Where do you stand?
It could be both, depending on your oppinion of 2010 albums as a whole, best of a bad bunch and all that.
Its not either though. Good album, but doesnt come across as great quite yet.
Field Music - Tones of Town
Sufjan Stevens - Age od Adz
Elton John & Leon Russell - The Union

The remake of Total Recall is all kinds of wrong, as is the proposed Long Good Friday remake set in Miami.
In fact most of the ones on that list are fucking worthless as well.
A remake of either of those movies would be ridiculous. The Long Good Fiday especially, so undeniably british, I can't see it as an American tale.

If you fancy reviewing the Belloc's album for shits and giggles that'd be braw. But no bother ya ken. Shame about the zine though. You're more enjoyable to read than Seagulls. Possibly cause you seem to be drunk more often.
-
So...do you two have real jobs when not doing the fanzine?

An offer Weezer shouldn't refuse.
Weezer 'offered' $10m to split up | Music | guardian.co.uk
Pretty offensive to the band I imagine, but the chaps right. They are now just shite and getting worse.

I need to hear this
No you don't.

I barely sleep or eat; I haven't gone to work for over 2 months; haven't shaved.
Ah, I see. I just thought you were a lazy sod slowly devolving into an ill-shaven hobo, as is your want. Must say though, rather disappointed.
