Wedding list/money requests - hate it. As has been noted the tradition springs from when couples were moving from their parents homes into their marital homes and needed help getting off their feet. That is rarely the case anymore.
I appreciate that weddings are expensive for the couple and money donations will help but they don't have to be expensive if you can't fucking afford it. I'd be happier if you had to buy a ticket. Do you want to go to Billy and Mary's wedding? Hmm, how much is a ticket? £50 each. Aye, go on then.
The fact that the guy who posted originally about this is a student and is worried about the cost just makes it all the more ridiculous. I assume the couple getting married aren't students.
The money request thing of late is just cheeky as fuck. I don't care if it comes by way of a cute little rhyme on the invitation either. That makes it worse - you're asking me for money - just come out and say it!
To top off the hatred I especially hate the thankyou card that comes after the wedding when you've bought something off their list.

Fletcher can go fuck himself, he really can, it should be a honor to represent your country, not something you pick and choose about. Richard Gough hated Craig Brown, didnt stop him turning up whenever he was called, be a fucking man, not a little spoiled child.
The thing is we play with one up front but Naismith and Snodders were out wide, both turn into strikers when we attack, so i dont really think the 1 upfront thing is an issue. Anyway, its used by the biggest teams around, every major succesful team right now plays with 1 up front, United, City, Spain, Barca, Real, they all play this system, so why everyone gets up in arms about us not playing 442 ill never know. Its not like we have more than 2 good strikers anyway, Goodwillie is pretty much finished at 22, Maguire, well lets move on, Russel maybe in a years time and outwith them Jamie Mackie is really all we have. Maybe if Jimmy McFadden gets new glass legs but i dont think him and Levein get on.
I suspect the up-in-arms-ness relates to the fact that we rarely play the 4-1-4-1 well. It's good in theory. I think the main problem on Saturday was that nobody in the attacking midfield 4 played to their usual potential and Miller was doing his usual misfiring. My problem with Levein is that he was too late in trying to change things.

Levein is a numpty. Does anyone in the entire country have any faith in the man? Serbia were there for the taking and initially it was the players who let the side down rather than the tactics. When that's as obvious as it was the manager is meant to step up and make positive changes when there's enough of the game left for them to have an impact. Inexcusable dithering.

He is. He really is. The Scottish National Team seems to be following a very worrying pattern recently, he names his squad, half the players pull out and he has to replace them with low-level players who just aren't good enough. He really does have a tough job in that sense, but he is still an absolute fanny and I find it difficult to support a Scotland team he's in charge of. I'm not a huge Scotland fan anyway, I watch the qualifiers but meaningless friendlies and pointless tournaments be damned.
Well just suck it up son and get behind the team! Rhodes is going to score 8 goals in the next two games. Any ball into the box, doesn't have to be good. BANG.
I've got my ridiculous and unfounded 'Scotland are going to be amazing' head on again. It's really not healthy, I just can't help it.

Can't beleive the Dons haven't scored (or conceded) in 4.5 hours of football at Pittodrie this season. I cheered good and unlucky performances against Hearts and County but it's becoming a little too frustrating now. I wonder if Brown's claim that "someone will suffer once Vernon starts scoring" put too much pressure on the lad.
A lot better than last season and it's hopefully a matter of time but come on!!!

He's not getting a game and has said he's happy to go out on loan to get game time. Hopefully he comes back and gets a chance when the loans finished as I've got a lot of time for him as a player, not sure why Brown's not given him a chance.
I think he has potential but I haven't really seen him do anything productive since the season before last apart from diving to win a pen against Hibs. Less wages to pay during the loan spell and we've got this lad Fraser coming through so I think it's a decent move. I assume there will be some clause whereby we can call him back in an emergency. Also Milsom can't get a game and this young lad Paton is ready to explode onto the scene...
Would be funny if Hearts can do something against Liverpool tonight.

I noticed she had a small wet patch on her armpit at the closing ceremony so she'll probably fade into obscurity now.
I don't particularly like that style of music but I do appreciate she has a cracking voice. I like that she doesn't do all that nonsense, showy-off warbling.
