Although not dedicated venues as such, I do recall Gladstone posting about an Underkills gig at a town hall...was it New Deer? I can't quite recall. I had always flirted with the idea of putting on a show at the Jubilee Hall in Portlethen.
The Loft near Forres may count, but it may be deemed a little far off.
I'm sure there's a functioning music venue in Peterhead, too. I could have sword I saw Indian Red Lopez post about a gig they had there - I think it was called Mambos? That name may be inaccurate.
It was indeed New Deer. Lots of fun it was too. Also played a gig at the Broch Leisure Centre. Also fun.

You bastards. I've had 'Murder Most Foul' stuck in my head for days.
Tune.

I like that Scream Queen one. Real purty.

King of the Surf draft by luckyrathen on SoundCloud
Werewolves of London draft by luckyrathen on SoundCloud
King of the surf sounds great. Werewolves didn't record so well but sounds good when we do it live. Plus you left in all my silly bits that you were meant to take out! And now there's a song on teh internetz with me howling on it.
Just the one? BOOM BOOM!

Score. Nice one. I'll do that today then.
Two words, boy. Elektron. Monomachine.

Get The Doors version, it's much better. Feel free to come along for a jam with us some time, provided yer no shite
Can you put the covers on thon Soundcloud?

I got a Compte-a-tune when I was about six then a Squier Katana at eleven. Binned it and got my first bass the following Christmas, a delightful black and red Marlin State of Art for 99.
I don't remember mine doing that.

I like the sound of the maw. Have you met her?

E2V were splendid. Just splendid.
-
Lol. havent heard that in years.
Around Christmas there were these "elf yourself" vidos and what have you. The site was JibJab or something. Made me reinstate the expressions "jib-job" (faeces) and jobby-jabber (a poof pants) to the working vocab.
Matricarians. 5th. Magic.

I saw this epic picture somewhere in this thread earlier, but can't find it again.
I decided to try and re-create it today while using Pizza Hut's online ordering service. The drawing isn't as good, but at least they made the effort.
Kim & I checked. It's a fair effort.

I liked the episode from the original series when mumm-ra disguised as a plant called Silky and fed Tigra hallucinogenic fruit. There was a cracking wee tune to go with the Silky bits.

That wummin is some kind of expert royal bawbag.
-
Simply enchanting. I enjoyed that.

Cafe Salma on Sauchiehall St (Charing X end) is meant to be braw. They do Indian and Moroccan.

I cannot believe they thought ecco the dolphin was worthy of putting on the list on the cover....
xx
Ecco was gash initially, but I recall it got better and turned out to be worth it. At least that's how I remember it. Speedball 2 and Toejam & Earl though...Or Desert Strike. Oooft aye.

Guitar position possibly filled, but now we need a drummer. Anyone?
You should probably put the demons up on a MySpace or Facebook thing or whatever. You'll be beating them off with a shitty stick.
-
I was at that gig. It was stupendous. The funniest part was about 100 people being there to watch them open the gig, then leaving before any of the other Bands came on.
Did you spot the boy? Typically he's doon the front making a royal cunt of himself. On another front, aren't Cobra Kai releasing a long-player shortly?

Contraceptives are futile when the speed are involved. Deyz puts babies in bellies purely with his riffs. I wanna hear more stories from that famous gig, it sounded special.
You made an outstanding contribution to that thread. Many involuntary snorts from me. Splendid, just splendid.
-
Nah man, we'll never get the classic 'Speed line up ever again, musical differences remember? They all hate each other now. If you didn't see them at the Tunnels, then you never will, and that's the sad truth.
THE BOY JACK SAW THEM AT THE TUNNELS! I am related to him.

Make yourself comfy, Mr Gozu...

Now I understand. Can I change my vote to Toxic Distortion?
-
Me, Ron and Paul probably account for 3 of the votes, fuck knows about the other 7
I miss those miserable cobra cunts. Shutterspeed passed me, I need to make my researches.

The mid-80s EK council house bedroom decor lends them a tawdry-yet-charming quality.lol, I forgot about this but if you like late nineteenth century porn style shots, yeah....- 1

That is magnificent. I feel a cover of Jungle Love coming on.
